Whenever Im feeling dumb I remember there's still 19 days -fans-, once again, FANS, that still don't have any clue how the storyline is... its not that hard, really, if you put your two neurons to work you'll realize they're still in middle school, all we're seeing is happening in the past, Christmas special happens with them at the present AFTER Jian Yi returned, because he was KIDNAPPED on the first day of HIGHSCHOOL as it was EXPLAINED on the first 50 chapters. He tien and Mo were NEVER a slowburn, they actually kissed almost ~40/50 days after their FIRST encounter. It was slowburn for us, for them was love at first sight.

This story is actually so good, the plot is very well written. You feel conflicted during the whole story, it's sad, imoral, but they love each other so much, etc. !! IT ISN'T A STORY TO FEEL GOOD !!. This's a yaoi manga, but I actually think it would work out better if the public was another, more grown up, that isn't just looking for something "cute and sexy".
A perfect example is the film OLDBOY, the movie and this story are actually VERY similar. Its horrible, and YET SUCH A GOOD DAMN MOVIE, a classic. The first time I saw it, I felt like I lost a lot of neurons, was throwing punches on air. But its undeniable how good the movie is, not because is romantic, way WAY far from that, but because it's dramatic.
Oh I see what you mean. I don't wanna romanticize incest but the melodrama involved is juicy. I'll check out Oldboy. It sounds really good. In return, I will recommend you Flowers in the Attic (the Lifetime movie or Origins TV series, either is good). Lots of drama and a showcase of the cycle of abuse and incest
Is she an orphan? Or it was never explained why she lives with her uncle? Just curious
I actually feel like she has absent parents, mostly basing it on the one chapter where she announces "I'm home... Not like anyone cares", which suggests to me that she doesn't live with her uncle because he definitely cares about her so much and she knows it. Also, the fact that at one point he even considered leaving means that he can't be her only family since, y'know, you can't just leave a 7 year old all alone (but he did have some doubts because it's pretty clear that he's the closest to her at least emotionally). So yeah, that's my take.
So he's probably autistic, that would explain his fixation on trucks!!! I've never thought about him being autistic till I read some of the comments today, and it makes SO MUCH SENSE
Baby steps but slowly he is understanding the world through a different view, one he has never thought about it before.
WHAT A CHAPTER ☆☆☆ I was fullfield with fluffiness and for about 5 minutes I forgot that yesterday a teacher at my university shouted at me in front of everyone at a meeting.
Literally I was thinking the same thing
