LMAO Idk if i can explain it but i’ll tell u my own representation of it. It starts off w him growing up, his parents died in a carriage crash along with other things. That ultimately left him alone. One day I’m assuming, a wizard/guy took him under his wing. The guy who took him in was the only/one of the only wizards in existence. After a long time, the ml figured out the source of the wizards power. It was through this lake. He uses the lake which then allows him to become one himself, giving him tremendous magical power. I think with that power, his personality becomes more cruel and rotten (granted it was already a bit rotten before). With his power and personality, he wanted/was searching for a way to become immortal.(through any means) After awhile, the wizard who took him in had enough. They end up fighting at the manor and wizard guy dies, but not before he cursed the male lead. He gave the male lead with the immortality he wanted so bad but with the curse that he would never be able to leave the property/manor. From then on, he was or is trapped in that manor eternally. I’m guessing along with trapping him/immortality, he also cursed him w delusions/sexual urges which is why you see the fl and ml doing it often. It helps calm him/the curse down along with the fact he just wants to do it with the fl.

Of course! For the reason why they all turned into monsters, if is a bit confusing to me too. I’ll give you my version of it though! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ So after the fight w the wizard and ml, he tried to get rid of the curse, any means possible. Due to the effects of the curse and the male leads horrible karma, it started spewing out when the effects of the curse worsened or fluctuated. That long term started to effect the people working as servants in his manor. It started cursing the workers/servants in the manor, turning them to monsters if they were to ever leave. From the curse, they also gain some sort of immortality or slowed aging but loose everything, turning them into full monsters if they were to ever step foot out of the manor. An example if this would be the butler since it was said that he has been working for the ml and his family for a long time and other stuff shown. Besides that, the male lead, as shown in the story has made deals with people in the past before. When making those deals, if the other party were to break them/not stay true to their word, it would curse them. This is shown through the head maid as in the story, we find out she or one of her sons were sick. She made a deal w the ml for medicine with the context that she would give the ml one of them/make then work for him when they’re better or older. She ended up not doing it which caused her immense pain/turning her into a monster, trapping her in the manor for that broken deal. I think the same thing happened to the female leads brother as he made a deal w him involving money which he couldn’t give back, ending up with him cursed. Tbh, i think it’s a mix of the curse and his own magic which turns people into monster for the ones who’ve broken their deals. But all in all, due to the people being turned into monster from the ml’s curse, he has power over them along w the fact that he actually has magic powers LOL. That is why I’m assuming he can freely bind, change, and hurt them. Idk if this is fully right but it makes the story more comprehensible in my mind so i’m sticking it this for now.
