I'm not sure what country the story takes place in but it's not in modern day japan. I remember mc having a pretty face. He had a one sided crush on his friend who is also a trainee monk. Not sure if he directly confessed but I know he got rejected. It stays unrequited till the end. I wouldn't call it BL, I don't remember having any romance here. It wasn't rlly a good manhua and it had a simple and typical plot but it was fun to read when bored ig. Anyway, mc was transmigrated I think? And he had a system thingy. He had already completed all the quests but all those quests were just hellish training in different professions. He basically became skilled in everything bcuz of that. Tho I think he got no reward at the end so he decided to just build a house and chill. Then a bunch of ppl kept finding his house and he helps them and stuff. I don't remember other characters much but there was a princess and an emperor, and also cultivators n martial artists ig. They all believe he's some hermit master and they try to win his favor. His garden also has a bunch of magical creatures in it

He also fell down and gained some type of martial arts if I remember correctly. But I don't think they mentioned anything about a father.. I dropped this long ago because I was annoyed with MC lol

I only remember this part, there's this family that moved to this island where the locals discriminate against outsiders. The family isn't treated well there, the kid is being bullied and the chief is tryna take all their money and stuff. In the school that the kid goes to, there's a female teacher who is also an outsider, she's the only person who treats the kid well there. The teacher isn't treated well too, the chief and his friends keep harassing her. There's also this big guy who works for the chief, he genuinely likes the teacher so he helps her when she was being chased by the locals. The chief told him that he has to work to help his father or whatever and afterwards he can go back but the chief actually killed his father so he was just being trapped there by the chief for years. In the end I think the chief died? And everyone got out of the island including the big guy and the crimes of the locals were exposed
