i really liked the beginning of this but the way it developed was so... meh. Jousei was a selfish ho and a boring one at that... I love stories with selfish guys but he just? Wasn't even a fun one. He was just shown as a 'good guy' except we can clearly see him using his best friend without a care. He started fucking his friend while doing a bunch of girls (actually, he only fucked motoki when he couldn't get girls), which sort of made sense - they are two playboys and best friends. like, why would he stop? I thought he'd just assumed the sex part wasn't serious - and since they were best friends before, their friendship was the relevant part anyway. It's not like they stopped hanging out or anything, so he would have thought they were fine that way. The thing is, turns out he was perfectly aware that was not how his friend felt - he already thought motoki belonged to him and would only have sex with him. Jousei just didn't feel like giving up the playboy life himself. Like, he genuinely just wanted Motoki to be with him only, but he only went to him when he was bored with the girls around him. And ok, whatever, I like asshole characters. But this one is so badly developed? And at the end we have like, a few flashbacks of the beginning of their friendship and I thought FINALLY some development was coming up but... not really, not at all. In the flashbacks he is once again shown as a 'good guy'. The good part was that he knelt down and apologized but honestly that did nothing to endear his character to me. Maybe if they had shown more scenes of their friendship, or portrayed him in general as a scumbag and not just a douche to his CLOSEST FRIEND for no reason other than ' it doesn't affect me '? I don't know. He literally only felt sorry because now his actions were affecting him too, because other than that NOTHING CHANGED. ALSO, I was expecting a story about two playboys would not suffer from the whole 'the bottom must be pure' syndrome but... turns out I was wrong. Like supposedly motoki couldnt get it up for any girls but he DID get it up for the other guy. Actually came twice with him. But he couldn't go 'all the way' because 'he wasn't Jousei'. And ended up telling Jousei they didn't fuck. Like: 1st - if you gave mutual handjobs and received a blowjob, you did fuck. Your ass has nothing to do with this. You had sex with the guy. 2nd - This just stank so much of "oh the 'uke' can't have anyone else fucking him! Then he is a slut. His ass must remain the 'seme's' only" even though he did a bunch of girls before? Man, just let him do the other guy. How is any of this relevant, specially considering Jousei was making his way around the block.
