OK, so so many things happen during the same timeline.
New girl is a habitual lying bitch. She feeds off the attention she receives. There's this group project later and BOTH siwon and her end up in the same group, along with Hoon and another girl. Long story short, new girl didn't like the topic picked, and hoon unknowingly pisses her off by contrasting everything she says lol, but he cites reasons why her ideas are a no-go, and she disappears when everyone is in discussion.

At the same time, rumours start to spread about siwon, that he has a girlfriend. It's this girl, it's that girl, or it's this girl. This stems from when piece of shit stalker dude saw siwon and new girl together, and took a photo. THEN DUDE PROCEEDS TO ADD MORE FUEL, saying siwon is obviously a two timer, AND proceeds to show photos of siwon talking and smiling with all different girls. (OUR SIWON IS JSUT A NICE BOY ;;)
Since new girl is also one of the girls that was said to be his girlfriend, her classmates ask her if it's true or not. OK, so INITIALLY she denies it, said it was just rumours. But then she saw how everyone was looking at her, and changed her meaning. AND THEN proceeds to say that she won't deny that it seems like siwon has interest in her. +how he used to have a crush on her.....you get the gist, more rumours and how siwon used to be "fat".

Also when the group project was due, new girl wasn't able to give her part, citing superficial reasons and saying they were all bullying her.
