From what I understand, both mono and monday lost some part of their memories, and for angel/demon, losing their memories = losing time of their life = don't exist = dead. So, they need to regain their memories in 6 days or they will be dead (it has been 5 days, but monday doesn't seems like gonna remember anything, that's why he is fading)
It's not like everyday memories but important memories which makes them who they are now. That's why suddenly there's story about younger mono, maybe it's becoz he's regaining his memories. ( makes me wonder, which one is uke and seme in baron and mono relationship?)

I think you are confused. He was not ASKING for an apology. He meant to GIVE one because when they initially slept together, he did it, in part, to get back get back at the girls who dumped him.
