I feel so bad for people who came here to read a fun, rapey, romance story. Must feel bad to be told to grow up and stop fetishising and normalising romance stories with assault in it.
Ps: the problem isn't using lack of consent as a plot device (if done well) but the glorification of it in the end by showing the rapist as a good person who deserves no consequences, second chances at life and love and as someone who has found redemption by repeatedly raping, abusing and humiliating someone as revenge. WHILE simultaneously punishing the assault victim if it is their fault they got raped and alluding to the fact that they DESERVED rape in the first place.
