I want the 2nd couple, I want the uncensored version, but I still need to be grateful that we are reading this and someone is uploading this series where the comedy is dialed to max settings. (⌒▽⌒)
Ya'll the mini skits/panels, they are too cute to handle. I don't think I can easily move on once these extras stop. Not grandpa and all Taeju's family showing the brothers with so much care and money. These brothers went through so much, even before Taeju happened and now it's all being paid 2x or even 10x more. I'm definitely not emotional. ╥﹏╥
Shit shit shit shit.
I can understand if mom gets angry first. Some whacks on the back at first. But then realizes how Jaehyuk changed and how frugal Garam is.
Gotta admit, her saying why Noah did not ask her why or stop her - I was saying, well girl you said not to ask why. But yk, lol, if he really loved her, like actually loved her, he'd trash the damn contract. So him getting annoyed and being arrogant about effing begging is him getting annoyed that River is standing up for herself and going against him.
Now fucking think how you'll explain all that to the kids and your mother.
Also, uhm Sir Sam (the mother's husband) needs more screen time. He's pretty handsome....
I always wondered what exactly made Taeju fall for Euihyun, seeing this now, my guess he realized how fragile a person can be. Taeju was surrounded by people built like tanks. They are all confident affluent alphas. When Taeju realized how young Euihyun raised Euiyoung practically on his own, it just dawned on me why he just wants to spoil Euihyun.
This guy will never do that so no need. I'm just ready for the divorce. Ffs. I have been impatient before but never like this. My goodness.
I gave the older brother the benefit of the doubt that was simply teasing - like a harmless sibling bullying - but no, he's just effing immature and insecure. He readily received all the love and attention, and he still envied the brother who had to practically beg for it.
Then the reveal, I mean it was a long time coming. It had to be done. The last straw was his grades and scholarship being affected by the relationship. To me it's FINALLY the plot is moving.
I was so happy she mentioned divorce but BACKED OUT FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. SHE WAS SWEPT BY HIS "APOLOGY" GAAAHHHHHHH
The author is pretty consistent with Jihwan. Imagine him actually being a romantic and kept being gentle with Soo young without having any therapy, when we know he never sought medical help. He pretended, almost had Sooyoung, then screwed up. Sooyoung jumped the boat until he jumped right out. The series is actually good, hope the author can make it even more realistic - like therapy, or unrealistic like plot twist where Sooyoung outsmarts Jihwan.
The art is divine - Wooju and Jiheon as kids are effing cute. Then Wooju's parents....HOT HOT HOT.
That aside. I don't exactly have issues with stupid uke/MC but there's a limit. If it keeps happening without the character progressing for more than 3 to 5 chapters, it gets effing annoying. He felt sus with Jiheon but not with professor? Bruh. Connect the dots - the side effect is supposedly loss of memory or increased forgetfulness, but not problem solving.
With so many effed up thing Jiheon did, ffs, the child was neglected af. His obsession is rooted from neglect as a child. To me, albeit everything he did, as long as he suffers - which I think we're seeing now, I'm satisfied. Wooju will most likely end up with someone in the end and I still go for Jiheon but ending up with no one would be a better ending. That would be unlikely so I'll pick the lesser evil - Jiheon.
I found a gem. Drama's there. Well paced. Romance gradually and naturally progressed. Characters are actually well rounded - they have flaws and they have reasons for their flaws. It's pretty easy to weigh the characters. The character development is good for all 4 characters! Hyundo and Yumin are not pushovers, Iseon became honest and appreciating what he lost, and lastly, the ever so manipulative and borderline narcissistic Sojeong finally apologized. All it took was her mother to drag her back to the ground and face the problem. The cliffhanger is so damn good too!
