I think she could have broken the curse or at least the curse not pulling her if she did not succumbed to the pessimism. She has Isha's blood and semen (for 5 freaking days), she should have some fight against it if only she wanted and gave her all to fight against the curse. Plus the I love you! Maybe that was it. I don't think it's the curse keeping her from saying it. She's just shy. I feel like it's the hint to somehow take a jab at the curse. She's just fucking weak in the end. To think I was made to think she wasn't that much of weak female character (that learning the language, stragegizing, archery - albeit still in early stages).
This was easy to read. I like that I can relate to both YG and KH, at the same time, it's clear where things went wrong. Both are actually smart and self-aware (for the most part). And yes, YG has issues, but it's obvious he trying to overcome it, albeit he is lost on what to do and it's confusing to borderline scary (lol) for KH. Both have relatable personalities and behaviors that everything feels natural - not too fictional, if that makes sense.
He's smart. Calculating and manipulating to be exact but he's not evil. When Kang explained he's the type of guy who separates love and lust, I agree and see the point. At the same time, him having trauma issues and is overprotective of his love being wasted (guarding vulnerability, avoiding pain), he missed the timing to realize he was already in love. Imo, he is still at the borderline of toxicity esp in the last few chapters. Primarily because, again he's smart, he knows KY still loves him and he just needs to clarify/prove he's in love too.
Omg. I'm happy I did not drop this! It does have substance and there's character development! I appreciate Billy, love Ms Yasmine and the husband, good riddance Greg, and the relationship, albeit a bit milked out, is progressing really well! The whole Yasmine arc was funny af too! This is actually good!
The side story feels like how the author wanted to start the series and condensed it to a couple of chapters. I lowkey like the side story a bit more...at least Beom in the side story. It's the same vulgar mouth but he was a bit more mature and endearing than in the main story. But maybe to make it longer, author/editor decided to keep grandma alive.

I get Ido as well. Ik he's dumb but at this point, in those three weeks, he was checking or fishing out what to do next. He thinks he is not deserving to beg for anything so he was just there for three weeks, making himself available. If Sejin ever gave a hint that he wanted Ido around, I think Ido would have stayed but he didn't sense/Sejin never gave hints. So Ido resigned to letting him go AGAIN. And honestly, I see Ido's point and agree on him now. It's all up to Sejin.
