AHHHH I'M SO EXCITED!! You guys, the novel for this is amazing, the author is a master at foreshadowing the crazy twists that happen and you can see he/she really planned the novel and put a lot of thought and heart into it. To the people afraid of romance in the story don't worry cuz so far there's none (the novel still ongoing and the translations are caught up to it), all the main characters have this wholesome family relationship and feel like real people that slowly change as the story goes on. Even the villains are very compelling, you guys that haven't read the novel will not regret getting into this story! Honestly my favorite novel by far ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

I was rereading this and it's really fucking cute, but man, that teacher is awful, she shouldn't be allowed to teach, honestly. She just believed his father without even hearing about his situation and when the whole gay rumor started, instead of being guide for the troubled and confused teenagers like a teacher should be, she just changes their seats, clearly showing her position in the situation and sending a horrible message to everyone in that class. I don't think this story really uses levels in that way. This story just has weaker and stronger as far as I've seen.
To be honest, I like it this way more. Using defined levels of cultivation gives it such a gamey feeling.
But didn't the MC say something about his own cultivation level a couple of times in the story or something like that? If I'm not mistaken there was even a name for it. I don't really mind not having defined levels, it's just that I feel like the story has levels but it wasn't explained, althought as I said I could be mistaken about it.
