I get what you mean but if you think about it other bl/yaoi have a quick setup and then continue while they are dating but this was just the story of how they got together so confessing qt the same time was also good so it didn’t just keep dragging
probably an unpopular opinion but i really didnt like the side couple. they took forever to get together and it kinda annoyed me. BUT I ADORED THE "MAIN" COUPLE. i was sad that they only got story time after like 60 episodes tho. they were just really cute together i think.
