Summary: Hilise has given her family too many chances. She died for them 7 times already. No, this time, when she comes back, she’s looking for a way to stay dead.

Spoiler alert: her fam hates her bc OG wife died giving birth to her. Talk about petty. Dad remarries someone who resembled his previous wife and love that woman’s daughter wholeheartedly. This is where things get complicated. In this family one of the two kids of the new generation will have powers.
It’s supposed to go to the kid with redder hair. It went to MC. In her first life, she tried to appease to her family, but older brother pushed her down the stairs. If that doesn’t tell you the family dynamic, idk what will.
Anyway, this goes on for some time until she finally snaps and gives up on her family, eventually killing them all in her seventh life before dying herself. In her eighth life, as a jaded, twisted soul, she just wants to meet the Original King to find a way to stay dead.
Also, yes. Male lead is dark hair boy. Which is great bc white hair boy gave off bad vibes the moment I saw him.

SPOILER ALERT : according to how the novel ends, it’s semi tragic with fl wanting to die at the expense of ml’s love for her… but he still tries to stop her death after she erased his memories of her… well he didn’t succeed and she died again but she had two wishes. 1, Permadeath. 2, ml’s happiness. The two cannot exist together as ml cannot be happy without fl… so a compromise!
Fl is reborn once more in a new timeline, but in this one she marries ml and when she eventually dies, she will stay dead.

She’s going to run away soon, I can feel it (I’m on chapter 27 rn). I don’t think I’m ready for the upcoming angst, if I’m being honest

SPOILER ALERT : Actual spoilers from the finished novel, she gets caught by the obsessive man, obviously. And apparently there’s gonna be a war… and Dylan is going to fucking die wtf! But all is not lost! Bc upon seeing his death Charlize realizes exactly how much of a fool she’s been to let her heart be tainted so much just for the sake of revenge, and ruin that poor boy’s life. And she makes a wish. A wish for him to come back to life and live the happy life he deserves.
And it works homie! And they get married and make a new empire and have a lovely daughter.
