am i the only one who just can't get into reading historical manhwas/mangas/manhuas? when i say historical, i don't mean those tyrant and duke shits, i talking about those murim/joseon type of historical. regardless of the genre(bl, gl, str8, action etc) or how good the art and plot it js bore me the hell out. i sometimes think its bcs of the hard to remember names, the long ass dialogues, and it's sometimes complicated to understand how the old era works(like how they talk about lands or those merchant typa shits) the only historical manhua that i liked and manage to read was "the return of the mount hua sect"

    I understand everything but I still can't seem to get into them My friend recommended Concubine's Walkthrough saying it's the most amazing thing she's ever read, many other people said so too BUT I couldn't start it because it's in the joseon era setting I've watched 2 or 3 historical kdramas and that's it, I can't watch them either

    same! i have this problem with kdramas too, i tend to get bored when watching. the only historical drama I've watched is probably scarlet heart since iu was in it heavens official blessing as well, ive heard so many good reviews aside from the immaculate art. i tried reading it but i really cant get through it after 10 chapters

The Hunter Wants to Live Quietly
Return of the flowery mount sect(js added this bcs the comedy is good, but i prefer to read manhwas in modern timeline)
