i think he's referring to the creator saying her next project would be a BL webtoon, she didnt clarify when it would be tho. at the moment it seems she's also doing scripts for a GL webtoon (but another person is illustrating). its only available on ridibooks and ofc in korean only. if only it was on bomtoon...im not trying to go thru all the age verification bullshit again on another website no thnx.
anyway im not too excited about yet another BL in the world but i love her art style so im def checking it out whenever it is. idk how much of SB is left but i cant see her doing this for another year and she's been working on this project for a WHILE. thnx to that whole thign that went down with lezhin which forced her to put it on hiatus for a while.
meanwhile S Flower and No Holes Barred are def wrapping up soon. so whenever SB goes too...rip femdoms of webtoon land (well Havi will be around bless her but she's not a psycho sadist so its just NOT the saaaame). at least the S Flower creator's upcoming works look very interesting. i have no clue what NHB writer is up to tho and i didnt even no NHB would be ending soon until i saw the name of chpt 67 (basically its part 1 of the 2 part finale. ofc there's possible also side stories he'll add to the work but damn it feels kinda sudden somehow...)

No Holes Barred ending soon makes sense. If it goes on much longer it will just be dragging on too long. With the exception of Paramour, White Angels Have No Rest and Her Shim Cheong I don't normally read BL or GL. So this will probably be the last book I read by Yeon-hui for a while.

While not Femdom Just Give it to me, The Blood of Madam Giselle, Disfigured, Snowman, and literally everything Lee Hwa-Seong writes will keep me occupied for a while.

well Havi is very dominant sexually so i cant her as a femdom (and she pegs Yul later) but she's not a sadist at all. its def less kinky/raunchy than the other femdom comics but it still imo counts.

i read it all. gl, bl and het. but i def feel like BL is massively overrepresented. esp if ur interested in dynamics with more dominant ladies and soft boys. i do get why women like writing BL so much and ofc women like reading it since its expressions of desire and how the men are drawn is def meant to appeal to the (straight lol) female gaze. i do find that female webtoon and comic creators are more willing to go dark or Problematic in their BL stuff than their het stuff. i wonder why hmm. (i do think there's an easier time to seperate yourself from the suffering the men go thru in these comics than it would be if it was women. and lord knows we see women suffer enough in media, romantic or otherwise). tbh for me what i like in BL is getting to see boys cry and suck dicks. u get a level of vulnerability from both the "top" and "bottom" in the relationship than you tend to see in het smut comics. (now more wholesome romance comics are much better imo in giving me a dynamic i like wrt het romance, so what im talking about here is purely the Erotic comics). with japan there's a whole genre of romance centered smut comics by and for women but they tend to all more or less be a variation on a very simple theme. meanwhile with korean and japanese webtoons i see (available in english i mean), the het smut comics are overwhelmingly written/made by and for men. female smut comic makers seem to focus their energies more on BL and even GL over het. the few het comics by women tend to be very contemporary modern slice of life type stories, that either focus the female main or a group of friends (either all female or co-ed), like Size Matters, Missing O, What's Going On?, Talk to Me are all examples of korean porn comics made by women. i def appreciate their take over the TL/Jousei/Harlequin ero comics i see from japan usually. they feel more true to life and the female characters feel real and u can rly root for them. but the downside is stuff like A Fool and a Girl or Blood of Madame Giselle basically smut comics with a genre setup (in this case historical/fantasy romance) are SO rare...but rly common to find in BL and to a lesser extent even GL. and im just like...*sigh* in conclusion i wish more female comic makers would just be willing to push the usual gender expectations and just push themselves in how they would write Het vs just doing BL cause they feel more free within that genre to express w/e kind of romance/sexual relationship they feel like. sorry this got long and rambley. BL will never be my fave genre no matter how much i read it cause it has no women in it. not even no women fucking just like NO women at all most of the time. i cry...(anyway have u considered GL?)

Lee Hwa-Seong wrote The Leash, Barefoot The Leash 2, Hunter, Masochist, Malja, The Nice Woman, The Birthday Present, Difficult Choices, Hooked, and Lowlife. You can tell when reading Lee Hwa-Seong Webtoons that he is used to writing books but not Webtoons because of how much he narrates instead of leaving it to the artist to show what a character is feeling which used to be annoying to me but eventually I got used to it.

Lee-Hwa Seong, Kabuki Shigeyuki, and Seto Yuuki are my holy trinity of smut authors.

Lee Hwa-Seong's toons can be found on Toomics the only one of his toons on this site is Malja.

oh ive looked up some of those toons before but i dont like the art very much. comics part of the appeal is the art has to be pretty to my eyes. i do appreciate they seem different from the usual ero comics fare by korean dudes at least. (toomics in general...the art is...ehhh. its like they have a house style and that house style is Meh. i dont like the popular shoujo anime style of webtoon llook either but its easier to tolerate if i like the story enough. i think my fave comic art is the one that seems either RLY distinctive or like...painting like...almost. hmm good example is Pale Horse. or the full color storybook look that Winter Woods often had. those are not ero comics tho, im trying to think of an ero comic that isnt sadistic beauty where i just appreciate the art on its own merits too...oh Madame Giselle! its gorgeous. basically if all ero comics could just be like madame giselle...)
