Warning, these are rather big spoilers (please note I found these on the spoiler page, so they may not be 100% accurate.


Some about Yuri:

Yuri (the OGFL from the game) is the daughter of a maid who fell in love with her master, a nobleman (a baron or something, doesn't really matter tbh), and had a child with him. Somewhere along the lines the nobleman's legal wife finds out about all of this and Yuri's mother gets fired and kicked out.

Somewhere along the way her mother also was an attendant for the 2nd Queen (the 2nd Prince's (Ed) mother) who poisoned/killed the 1st Queen (the 1st Prince's (Dean (*cough* Alfred *cough*)) mother), who was also fired (I think the doctor who was sent to help the 1st Queen also poisoned her as well, as he was in the 2nd Prince's fraction). Honestly, this bit wasn't very clear how it all played out exactly.

Yuri and her mother where living a hard life after this, and when her mother became ill she went to her father for help, but he wouldn't even give her the time of day and shunned her. Her mother ends up dying soon after. This is when she realized that he saw hee mother as nothing more than a plaything to be used and thrown away. She hated men. She hated the country she lived in and tbh I'm not even sure why that was, it may have been mainly directed towards the nobles and the royal family. Yuri wants to watch this country crash and burn, she wants revenge for everything she went through.

So, in chapter 58ish in the manga where Divan (I believe) says that she's like her mother when she was saying how cute the prince was, that's why she reacted so strongly. She doesn't want to become so in love with a man that it she loses her senses and have that person stab her in the back and/or have love ruin her life.

From What I remember (sorry can't get into details...) Oh...please tell me if I am wrong

- iris get proposed by neighbor kingdom's prince because of her talent at business (?)

- she asked herself if she will accept proposal or not as there is crisis in her fief.

- Iris's father was unconscious (forgot if because he is sick)

- The King died. In some party after that ( Iris attend them) the queen faction want to make Ed (2nd prince) to be a king. But suddenly, Dean appear and revealed his identity as the 1st prince.

- Dean revealed about some shady thing or something. I think it is about Divan being a towair kingdom spy.
- Iris's bro (Bern) was going to capital, but in his journey he saw some scene like hell (something like many corpses..people died)... He then cut his hair, and vowed that he will never let this happen again.

- Towair kingdom attacked...One of places get attacked is Iris's fief. She then send the letter of approval or something for another fief soldiers to help fight against invader. And she too asked Anderson's help (the general aka Iris maternal grandpa family).

- Bern meeting with Dean and Letty in capital. He then tell them how he thinks Iris is better to govern the fief than him. And he will step down from the heir position or maybe exiled himself so that Iris stay as fief lord. (It is better than Iris married to another country). And reasoning that married Iris to another country will make their country loss.

- Mellice (Iris mother) was in her maternal home when she heard about the attack. She then take back her position (as military genius) and go to the war with her troops.

- Iris want to evacuate her people but the people doesn't want to. They want to help as it is their own home.

- Hearing the attack, Dean was really worried, he want to join the fight but he has responsibility as the king. Letty then said 'go. I will help you from this side' (Letty will substitute Dean when Dean is in war). Then Dean go to help fight against Towair invaders.

- With help from Anderson's troops and all, they won the war. They bring a prisoner of war. He said that he was a prince of Acacia kingdom, some doubt him as why a prince from another country help the Towair kingdom. But, someone saw his ring that know that he was telling the truth.

- There is a really sad news coming. In the letter it is said that Dean is dead. He got shot with arrow in the chest(?). Iris get really sad until she get sick.

- Iris people investigated about the situation in Acacia kingdom she then know that there is some conflict between successors. Iris messaged them about the hostage prince, and one of prince comes (the one that proposed to Iris). They then negotiate. When the prince proposed to Iris again, she rejected him as how the Acacia kingdom got involved with the Towair kingdom to attack her country. The hostage prince goes to his home and Iris gained good business partner.

- Iris get reminiscing when she saw the night sky. Then someone joined her. It is turned to be Dean. He is alive. He really got shot with arrow and the injury is really serious. So they decide to tell that he is died. I think they confessed to each other.

- Later in the epilogue, it is said that Dean and Iris get married with only their family as witness to the wedding. Iris stay as fief lord. Common people only know that Iris married a commoner. The commoner is like her right hand or something. Her husband is really mysterious to them.

- Leticia (letty) become the queen, she married Bern. And...our maid Tanya married Dida. The epilogue said that Tanya is pregnant.. Iris and Dean already have two children.

Dean married to Iris not as the king but as the mysterious commoner ( the king alfred was died get shot by arrow in the war against towair kingdom, but actually he was survive). So, no...they didn't get to be king and queen...but Iris was fief lord..(duchess..so she still stay at her job).

Letty aka Leticia is Dean's little sister from the same mother. Her appearance was similar to her mom that's why Dean didn't let her meeting their father as he know how obsessed his father is to his mother.
Later, Letty becomes Queen after King Alfred 'died' in war.

And what happened to Ed and Yuri...
Actually Yuri get into prison. Ed want to release Yuri as he really love her. When he meeting Yuri in the prison, there is some incident. I think there is this guard that with Ed when he visit her but somehow he went to attacked Yuri, but then Ed shielded Yuri with his own body. He then died. Yuri later (after conversation with Iris) realized that she actually loved Ed (I think)
Bern and Letty witnessed this incident without Ed party knowing." (Pg. 8)

Who is Backing Yuri:

@Merugoround clarified that it's Divan backing Yuri, not Dean like many people thought within the spoiler page, this misunderstanding being, due to MTL being its normal and weird self. They also mentioned that after the confession between Alfred/Dean and Iris, she made it clear that she didn't want to leave her fiefdom, as she finally got the title of duchess and wouldn't give that up for him, as she really loves her people. Dean understood and was happy (tbh he never wanted to be king in the first place and this is also why his sister ended up taking up the throne instead), as he never wanted to take away her freedom by locking her up like his father did to his mother. Dean said that this is the Iris that he loves.

Foreign Prince:

There is a foreign prince who tries proposing to Iris a few times, mostly due to how well she ruins her fiefdom. I think she does consider it, because I mean, why wouldn't she? It wouldn't look good on her if she were to remarry anyone lower than loyalty, due to having been engaged to a prince beforehand, and this prince's country could really help her fiefdom as well. She doesn't accept though.

King:

He does die at some point, but he was a dick so yeah. This does cause more tension among the two princes' factions.

Confession:

"Dean reveals himself as Alfred but idiot prince gets all pissy and declares him an impostor. Knight captain comes in and idiot prince orders him to arrest Dean. Dean gives the order to arrest idiot prince and Yuri and knight captain complies. Yuri tries to charm Dean and Iris actually thinks he's falling for it but he actually just lean in and tells her something that causes her to burst into tears." (Pg. 6)

"Looks like we finally learn what Dean said that caused Yuri to break down. 'A pitiful pathetic doll that was abandoned by a doll maker. Divan has already pulled up from the kingdom.' " (Pg.7)

I just caught up and finish the latest translated chapter in the novel and then I saw this update! as expected it's still different to see pictures rather than words (≧∀≦) I've been itching to spoil someone and talk about it :((

So, this is gonna be a long spoiler for the whole novel. Please do give and take the spoilers I’m going to give. It has been a hot minute since I read the novel.



Without further ado, during this arc Kallisto and Penelope get involved in an assassination attempt. Assassins tried to kill Kallisto and Penelope happened to be there with him. As they fight, Penelope knocks out the assassins with her bow. They manage to runaway and Kallisto gets poisoned. However, Penelope is able to bring him back the camp grounds before anything really bad happens to him. When they comeback, the other nobles are “worried” about them. They also find out that the assassins who attacked them were actually also nobles. And they tried to frame Penelope for kidnapping Kallisto and hurting nobles. So, they bring her to court. During this time, her father and Reynold try really hard to defend her. Reynold tells her that he believes she didn’t do anything wrong. But, Derek say she should just admit guilt and doesn’t believe her. So, during court it is proven that she’s innocent and she even proclaims that she and Kallisto are in love. That’s why they were together. This shocks EVERYONE. So, with that alibi, the case ends and the sentence the assassins to jail/death. Kallisto during all of this is unconscious until after the court trial and he finds out that Penelope claimed they were lovers. So, when she went to visit him, he’s like teasing her about it. Her family is totally against it, but she uses him as an excuse that she’s really in love with him. After this, you see Kallisto trying everything to win her over.

There’s this scene where he tells her that she always seems like she wants to die (not exactly, but close to what is said). And that the reason why he carries a sword around her is that if she dies, he will immediately kill
himself to follow her .

So, after the hunting arc comes this arc where Penelope, Kallisto, and Vinter come into contact with the bad guys. Penelope sees the Yvonne with them. They fight in this cave and that’s how Kallisto finds out about the bad guys. I don’t really remember this arc, but it was mainly about finding out what the bad guys are doing and finding out that Yvonne is alive and is working with them.

After this arc, I don’t really remember much. Cause there isn’t anything very memorable until you go into the final stages of the novel. So, if anyone remembers anything other significant after that arc before the last arc. Please help out!

But, back to the story. In the last few arcs, we see everything going downhill. Eckliss goes crazy over Penelope. This is because Penelope and Kallisto announces their love for one another and Eckliss can’t take it. So, what does he do? He BETRAYS Penelope. He brings back Yvonne into the family. And the whole family is “happy.” The things is, the family doesn’t like disregard Penelope. The father & Reynold try their best to still love her. On the other hand, Derek and Penelope is still kind of off. With Yvonne back, Derek becomes even colder towards her — but it’s not like Penelope cares about him anymore.

So, with Yvonne back, Penelope wonders why Eckliss betrayed her. He says he’s for her sake and that if he can’t have her, no one can. After Yvonne’s comeback, things move into the final stages. We have the war. Yvonne and her bad guys team up with Eckliss and his former citizens of his country. Penelope is devastated because she trusted Eckliss. And he tries to be like “it’s all for your sake. You would be happier with me. I love you. If I can’t have you, no one can.” So, things go down. Then, we find out that Yvonne isn’t actually Yvonne.

This takes us into the flashback. We find out that Yvonne was actually dead all along. She died when she went missing. Her body is being used as a vessel by the villains. And I’m the first timeline, we find out that fake Yvonne casted a spell over everyone to make everyone love her so that she can destroy the world. The reason why Penelope is killed in the first timeline is because she comes from a line of ancestors who used to fight against the villains. And is this immune to the magic, but she gets killed However, Vinter being the magician snaps out of the spell, realizes who Penelope is, turns back time to save everyone and sends Penelope back into the other world to protect her. And the time rewind redoes all the whole timeline. This other world being the modern society. Penelope finds this out and saw the similarities of the two world she’s been living in. So, Penelope finds out that it is ultimately her in the end, who has the save the world.

As the fight ends, fake Yvonne tries to kill Penelope. However, Eckliss saves her and realizes his mistakes. His death is a mystery though because his body was allegedly not found, but tbh he dead-dead in my opinion. Anyways, after the fight ends, everything goes into place. Penelope does faint and goes back to the modern world for a bit, where shes in the hospital and sees her family worrying about her. However, she chooses to die in the modern world to be with Kallisto in the original world. She and Kallisto gets married. And one day, she finds this mirror and sees the original Yvonne there. Original Yvonne thanks Penelope for saving her family, tells her she’s jealous about Penelope living a life while she’s dead, and asks Penelope to let their family know that she (Yvonne) is okay and will be okay now. She says this because the family finds out about fake Yvonne being evil and has to go through losing their daughter/sister twice.

At the end, Penelope visits the family. Where she’s close to Reynold and her father, but she tells them that although things have changed, she doesn’t plan to forgive them since they never been kind to her. However, as time passes on, maybe they can work something out. And with Derek, she doesn’t even really want to talk to him because he’s always doubted her. However, Derek makes the first step to stay away from her and tries to support her from then on. Penelope does visit them every now and then, cause she does think of them as family and they do want to make it all
Up with her.

Kallisto and Penelope do get married and have a happy life! It’s a very sweet ending for them because they fit each other well!

As someone who has read the light novel (I can read Korean hangul, but there are ongoing translations being adapted into English for anyone who can't read hangul), I thought "you know what, let's give ya'll what you deserve". So, here I am, and be prepared for the spoilers below

1. Though Navier is legally regarded as the Queen of the Western Kingdom, she still, however, faces some backlash in the higher up community due to being a former citizen of the Eastern Kingdom (the people are kinda untrustworthy of Navier), and because Christa, the former Queen of the Western Kingdom as well as the sister-in-law of Heinley to whom was married to Heinley's late brother, dislikes Navier due to having a one-sided romance towards Heinley. So, Christa is jealous of Navier because ever since Christa met Heinley, she's been infatuated with him but could never express her romantic feelings for him as she was being planned to marry his late brother.
2. Despite the former, Navier doesn't hold any disdain towards Christa and instead tries to win the higher-ups by joining forces with Duchess Tuania, as well as with one of the noble ladies who dislike the fact that Christa was still residing in the palace despite not being the Queen anymore.
3. Although she did have some speculations, Navier finds out that Heinley is Queen when she had been taking an evening walk near the palace fountain to which she had secretly seen Heinley turn from his form as Queen to his naked human form. And because Heinley knew nothing of this, throughout a few chapters, Navier is seen being heavily flustered around Heinley due to being drifted back to the image of him naked. (Side Note: Upon seeing him naked in the fountain, Navier describes Heinley as "huge").
4. Sovieshu and Trashta invite Navier and Heinley to their wedding in the Eastern Kingdom to which Trashta is seen wearing an over-the-top dress with multiple pieces of bling to the point where she had been described as looking like a "Christmas tree". This completely pissed Sovieshu off as the dress made Trashta look completely ridiculous - the dress looked as if someone has barfed multiple pieces of jewelry on it to the point where there was just too much going on.
5. During the wedding ceremony, Sovieshu had become extremely petty and jealous of seeing Navier with Heinley to the point where even after the ceremony, Sovieshu had the audacity to beg Navier to take him back by saying that their divorce was only going to be valid until a year later when they're able to remarry again, as well as using Heinley's playboy image to try and swoon Navier. Despite this, Navier doesn't fall for Sovieshu's lies and completely ignores his request for remarriage.
6. Back in the Western Kingdom, Navier invites Duke Kaufman in hopes of joining forces in regards to trades (the negotiation that failed to be upheld in the Eastern Kingdom), to which the love potion he drank back in the Eastern Kingdom still persists. Thus, not only making it harder for himself to cope with the extreme changes, especially around the wedding of Navier and Heinley but also for Navier as whenever Navier tried to approach the Duke, he would ignore her in order to resist the effects of the potion in which Christa interprets this as a hateful relationship between the Duke and Navier. So, Christa tries to use the Duke in order to win over the higher-ups against Navier, but of course, this plan fails.
7. The wedding between Navier and Heinley commence to which both of them are happily seen walking down the aisles with genuine smiles on their faces to which angers Sovieshu. On this day, Heinley discusses matters regarding their first night with Navier to which Heinley describes himself as being "inexperienced", so he asks Navier if she could lead him in the bedroom. In regards to this, the scene was just so wholesome to the point where even both Navier and Heinley had their awkward but touching moments together.
8. Back in the Eastern Kingdom, Trashta is seen to show her true colors as she not only acts in harsh means to punish the workers within the palace despite it being her fault but also cut off any financial benefits left by Navier in regards to her sponsors so she could benefit herself. Sovieshu discovers this and begins to distance himself from Trashta as he's in disbelief of Trashta acting in this kind of way. Over a few weeks, Trashta gives birth to a healthy baby girl to which in regards to Trashta's deceitful nature, Sovieshu asks for a paternity test to be taken. Thus, revealing that the baby wasn't in fact Sovieshu's but Alan's daughter to whom Alan is the lover of Trashta when she was a slave. So, Trashta was indeed pregnant when she was a slave prior to meeting Sovieshu. This of course causes an uproar within the Kingdom where all of Trashta's lies are revealed to the point where she was imprisoned for all her crimes. It is here that Trashta's lack of self-awareness causes her to become depressed that she even leads herself to the point of suicide.
9. A few days after the wedding ceremony of Navier and Heinley, Navier has a dream of a baby bird to which she interprets as a sign of pregnancy. Wholeheartedly, she indeed does find out she's pregnant (FYI both Navier and Sovieshu are infertile due to the laced cookies. However on Navier's first night with Heinley, she had fallen pregnant by doing "it" on a bed that consisted of mana to which healed Navier's fertility), and gives birth to twins - one being a girl and one being a boy.
10. After the death of Trashta and Navier giving birth to twins, Sovieshu continuously begs Navier to take him back to the point where he even shamelessly asks her to take him as her concubine. Navier boldly rejects his offer to whom Navier makes a clear statement that her love will only be towards her husband, Heinley, and her two kids. Whilst Sovieshu is living his life full of regret and contempt, Navier happily spends the rest of her life loving Heinley and her kids to which the twins take after their father of having the ability in being able to transform into birds.

So i read the novel (yes, there is one!) which this manhwa is based on. Prince learned that Louis is pregnant with HIS child when he confronted the Duke and learned that he drugged Louis 4 months ago so that he could sleep with him. Yes, if u haven’t seen the spanish-trans, which is up to ch 37 already, it is indeed the Duke who is the serial killer. Prince knows that Louis doesn’t know who the father is as well. After saving Louis from the Duke, Prince put him in basically a house(mansion/palace)-arrest for 2 weeks, and was only released after the Duke’s execution. The news about Louis’ pregnancy was also released to the public. Newspapers and the likes reported that it was the Prince’s child (w/c it was but Louis doesn’t know that) and that they were to be married soon. After the house-arrest, Louis learned all about their supposed to be marriage from his sister and he immediately asked the Prince about it.

Now, this part is where it gets funny to me. Louis still believes that the father of his child was the other redhead royal so he’s not sure about marrying the Prince. He doesn’t want his firstborn to be from someone else’s lineage. Instead of correcting his mistake, the Prince basically said that Louis’ child is his child too, implying that he doesn’t care if the child is his and he just wants Louis to marry him. Louis accepted the proposal ofc bc he luved him.

But I was waiting for the “oh btw, we slept together 4/5 months ago. I’m the father” but nah... Louis throughout his pregnancy was feeling scared that the child would have a red hair and people knowing it wasn’t the Prince’ child. It was only after Louis gave birth (in the freaking epilogue) that he learned Prince was the dad wtf (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

At first, he was shocked that the baby looked so much like Prince, then the lady who was thrown out in the carriage visited him after his labor and joked that if it weren’t for Louis, she would be the one to have that beautiful baby who look like the Prince. And with that, he asked the Prince’ secretary if he slept with the prince back then and the secretary confirmed it.

The amount of face palm i did as I was reading this is so hilarious (⌒▽⌒). But then again, take this with a grain of salt. I read a poorly google translated novel and by the end of it, when Prince was explaining why he hid this info from Louis, I couldn’t even understand his reasoning because of poor translation (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
