I mean, I don't think she really doesn't like him, not liking is a strong a word. The way she acts makes it obvious that she doesn't dislike him. But it seems she doesn't like his attitude and how he acts when he's being "mean", I guess? Maybe when he's teasing her it's the right word. For example when he threatens to eat her.
Tbh I also find it kind of annoying when he does that, but I like him.

Me too since it is mentioned that the royal family can use magic. My guess since mc/fl character was just an extra with few lines in the original novel, she played her part too well that ml fell in love with her that caused him to steer off course and not fall in love with the heroine but search for a way to bring mc/fl back.
