He had great character development, and I get that a lot of his actions were drug-influenced in the past, but I just can't understand how she could forgive him. Like, I don't want her to hate him since he obviously became a much better person, but how she could be with him again, is beyond my emotional comprehension. My EQ simply isn't great enough to follow her emotional process. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭. I don't hate or even dislike Ruve tbh(I loved him as a character, but he felt like such a bad pair with her), but I do feel like there were so many possible outlets that were left unadventured. Many characters never got the ending they deserved, and although a story should revolve around the main characters, the side characters are still living their lives. I wish we could have truly learned how carsein and allendis were. I wasn't a fan of allendis(I usually love yandere/obsessive characters, but he just wasn't a hit with me), but I respected that he had his own baggage, and feel like there should be a woman, man, or animal that helps him in the way tia had, but in a way that the feelings mutual. Carsien was genuine the entire time and always treated her with respect(excluding the childish behavior from when he was a child). I truly feel like carsein deserved much better than tia, but since he loved her, I felt myself kind of hoping they would end up together. When I first was reading this story I was team Ruve all the way, but when I reread this recently after the end, I felt kind of like the characters were all there just to make the main characters seem better. Like, they were just stepping stones that got to stick around a long time or get thrown away. Anyway, this is just my opinion so please don't get to upset with me( ̄∇ ̄"). Feel free to argue any of the points I made, I'll definitely reply!

I honestly feel bad for the red-haired woman. I feel like we would have absolutely adored her if she was a fl of her own story. Perspective is everything huh? ╮( ̄(エ) ̄)╭

I agree to an extent. Remember that she literally abuses her son for his entire life which makes him go crazy and kill the emperor? Yeah, maybe at one point she would’ve been a good fl, but considering her entanglements and her honestly shallow reason for revenge, she would eventually lose support. I can understand revenge for the loss of her family, but joining hands with satan himself and using your child for your own needs? Not an equivalent exchange right there. Additionally, black magic was outlawed because it’s inherently evil. She literally could’ve just chosen to take the more righteous path, regardless of her emotions.

I rarely go for gl ships for the mcs in straight stories tbh. I love shipping the side characters, but usually i prefer the male lead anyways. I’ve only gotten second male lead syndrome once, for iklies in death is the only ending for a villainess. HOWEVER, this manga is playing up the maid and the fl’s relationship so much, that i feel like the actual love interest is sort of like a wet noodle. You probably don’t understand what i mean, but

I'm rereading this story for the second time, and I felt a bit uncomfortable the first time, however the second time around, the attitude of eve is glaring. Isn't she basically sexually harassing ansian at the beginning? I'm sure we all noticed that she was pan, so her actions couldn't be written off as being the close friendship that's found between 'girls'. If a man said the same thing, chances are we would all pounce on him, even if he said it in the same innocent context as her. She doesn't have much regard for boundaries, and I feel like the ml's lenient behavior towards it, is making the actions seem more acceptable than they really should be.
Shit I know I'm gonna get attacked for this, but I kind of hate all the characters? Like, the ml doesn't listen to a basic request and doesn't have much trust. The fl doesn't think things through very much. Florre is unbearably stupid. The knight and emperor are half cruel and half entitled. Everyone in this manga seemed so half-assed. The concept was so cool and creative but the execution is a bit off? I don't know. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Well of course she wouldn't think things through she was just a normal high school student being used as a slave by her own "friend" so of course she I rational cause she is only around 16-17years old not some evil genius
On top of that she wants the girl who took her freedom to get a taste of her own medicine and she wants her to experience it fast the same way she did so of course she is gonna be irrational and no thinking things through because she is so set on that goal again she is only a high school student not some mad genius so just give her a break.
Ahaha i love the fl and ml but you right
Our is too blinded by her anger sometimes that really makes us see her in a bad light (but i don't blame her, after seeing her past I'll root even if she seems too petty xD)
I really hated the mls action of helping the bitch, showing he's not listening to dahlias request at all xD and so on
I hope they develop their personalities better soon
Agreed (⌒▽⌒)
