I read something similar, like two to three years ago. The MC starts streaming after his sister has him join her on her own stream. He tries it out, and it turns out he's a total VR genius. He unlocks hidden plots and all that. I'm pretty sure his character's hair had been white
Does anyone know which comic I'm talking about?
It's the Sleeping Ranker!! I remember because among all VR manhwa, the MC actually started to play VR not like the other manhwa's MC lol if everyone started playing because they're poor and trying to change their life, he actually just wnat to sleep because the time difference inside the game is huge. He have a sister that told him to play and enjoyed the game, but he always lied and said he was doing okay in the game, while in reality all he does is sleeping lol.
Can't stand the ML - If he knows all the Princess' "nefarious schemes" then why doesn't he just kill her instead of letting her do whatever she wants? He's already proven he has no respect for royalty or human life. It's kind of annoying.
For such an all-powerful dude that's apparently one step ahead of everyone, he sure doesn't do shit. Kind of pathetic. The fact that he's still only "speculating" that she's Arlene and hasn't ascertained it yet it also annoying. Why is he taking his time. It's like he's playing a game of cat and mouse. I have hard time believing he really, truly treasure her (and not some image he has of her) when he's dragging his legs around like this. He's too complacent in his power. He's lucky his childhood friend has a soft spot for him. If she didn't like him at all and revived as she did, she'd be long gone probably living her best life, meanwhile he'd still be sitting around stewing in his own self-pity and letting a dumbass run roughshod over his estate and placing curses on his precious child. What an idiot.
Sincerely I hope he stays single from the beginning to the end. Don't let the judgmental fools change him. He's living the Life I can only aspire for. Side note: If I was him, I wouldn't attend family dinners either. He's happy and successful, but they only seem to know how to scold him for not fitting into that little box of allosexuality. It's sad and frustrating.
I've really been feeling the author is trying to buff that romantic side plot with the musician. I truly want this dude to remain as he is as life has told him far too many times he needs a partner to be happy in life. The only reason I would have been okay with him getting together with someone would have been if they left him alone like he asked. And even then, only slightly okay.
But I know even if he and the musician remain friends, everyone and their dog is going to think they're an item. It might actually be a solution to his problem if he just let's them think that and she plays along as she focuses on her career.
You said it way better I can! Hoping he stays single in this life time and not go with the crowds. I wish there’s a way to have MC communicate with the God in the world. I’m sensing they’re somewhat connected since the God of loneliness want him to be reincarnated into that world.
The story is tolerable bc of MC. The other characters are way too focus on something that is not their business.
I’m seeing people are worried he’ll be paired up with the musician girl. I’m hoping there is more to the story like the reason why MC end up there. Maybe MC is going to be the God’s messenger or is God himself in a far future. Ch 14 makes me want to think MC is going to do something about changing how the world is run. ITS A SLIM CHANCE
If MC did end up romantically with the musician girl rather than those two seeing eye to eye as an equal then…the story had no point anymore and I’m going to pretend the romance didn’t happen.
Yes, I agree. The only way I would be able to accept him being married or in a relationship is if it was a mutually beneficial compromise like that. Although that still may leave a bitter taste behind. As long at it's something he happily enters on his own accord, I suppose I could accept it, but if it's with resignation or giving up to get people off his back... That would just be sad...
I understand adapting a story to a different medium can be different, but I do think they're skipping too many scenes. Especially in regards to how impactful SeoJun's acting is to the people around him as well as how immense his popularity has truly gotten.
Can you say some of them? I haven't read the novel (not thinking), but I'm interested in it
There's more????? Do you have the novel link?
Pls ket me know where to read the novel Q^Q
There's too many moments to list honestly. I do get that not everything can be included in an adaptation, but a significant portion of the novel is everyone's reactions to him. So the fact that it isn't more highlighted here is a bit disappointing. I keep feeling like parts of what made the novel truly enjoyable are missing. Afterall the story is about him being a "Superstar."
An example from this comic's recent chapter:
When SeoJun first arrives for his audition, you can feel his popularity in the words as the outsider's POV is taken on with a sense of anticipation.
>>>
Ding dong~
On the first floor.
"It's not him."
The last day of the audition for the children's play [Spring] and the day of the audition for the role of Blue Dragon
Since earlier, the eyes of the employees who came to work have been fixed on the elevator. Each time they heard the familiar ding-dong, their attention was immediately drawn to that location,.
When the door opened, and they saw someone who looked like a child with their, they would lift their heads up looked at the child.
If it is a girl with long hair, they would quickly notice that it is not him, but if they don't see the boy's face correctly, they would keep looking at the child.
When an employee who is in charge of checking the children's names shook his head, everyone began to do their job again with disappointment.
"Doesn't the audition start now?"
"When everyone comes we will start."
Everyone stared at the elevator at the employee's words.
Just in time, the elevator went down to the underground parking lot
He is now here!
>>>And this scene, just as he is about to audition, it depicts a crowd forming in the theatre.
Employees who were counting the number of children outside the concert hall gently opened the door and sat in the audience.
"Is this okay?"
"It's okay. It's okay. If not now, when would I be able to see Lee Seojun's acting in person?"
"Sunbae!"
"Why?"
"Aren't you the CEO?"
Everyone turned their heads at someone's words. The president of the Milky Way, who was contacted by the assistant director, quietly entered the concert hall and settled near the screening seat. After that, the other superiors also appeared.
While Seojun was waiting for director Park Ji-soo's call, almost all the people who knew about actor Lee Seojun's appearing in the concert hall arrived.
Unlike a while ago, when it was empty, the audience seats were now half-full, and unlike Seojun, who showed no sign of being famous, An Daho was able to confirm his actor's popularity and smiled without realizing it.

Small details. But they add up.
