I just know if I think hard enough about this webtoon I've forgotten the title of, it will magically show up on the Featured Manga tab
Also me, evey other day: *it does not*
anyway, please help T-T
The one that came to mind this time (-and the fact that I can only remember this bit and that it was maybe the first chapter, means there is a high likelihood that I dropped this comic. However, that is, despite being plausible, also irrelevant. I believe in second chances-) Is about two colleagues. They're on a business trip. The Seme (i think) was hunting on a dating app. Previously scenes before had him dismissing his LI, thus cue LI exiting the bathroom, freshly showered, glasses off and 100% ML's type. They bang because of course.

Yeah, I can't read this. MC is brainless, and the plot is brainless. The premise starts off interesting with character possession, but wih the twist that her first attempt fails. After choosing death and cursing the true villainess, she finds herself with the choice to load like in a game. Par for course, she chooses to try again. That's where things begin to quickly fall apart. The first point could be due to translation issues, but she states that the load point must be from when she possessed the character. However, that's quickly disproven as she then follows the contradicting train of thought that she had already broken off from the villainess and chased the OG!FL's route. Ok.
Following that, the second interesting factor: the item shop is opened. However, we the audience are given no preview for it, and therefore, no hype is created for how it could possibly be used to spice up the story. It seems it will be a boring deus ex machina like tool. Likely, wherever a plot armor event happens that can't be explained, the MC will probably just say something like, "Sure am glad I bought this "item" from the store beforehand." Whatever.
In verse, MC glosses over it as well as she is suddenly ushered into her schedule for the day. More factors are revealed such as what the previous error message was intended for: MC inevitablely has holes in her memory. She can't even remember what her body's father's face looked like. Ok. In a later scene, it is proven that she can't even remember the layout of the mansion she lived in. Ok.
Then, what was the point of the regression? Regression is interesting only when a character can use it to change their life for better or for the worst. They don't have to be hyperintelligent, but at the very least, the character has to be able to make changes to the plot so we can enjoy the flap of a butterfly's wings events that follow.
All the MC has done is prove herself stupid and get blackmailed by one of the MLs (someone who can apparently go in and out of a noble woman's home whenever he wants? What are the servants and guards doing? Her father doesn't even question the breach in security. And ML, doesn't he have a job? Dumbass has to much free time apparently that he can just whimsically go in person to harass someone he apparently disdains to the point of death.). She's made no substantial future plans and is just letting herself be dragged around by everyone around her.
Oh, but not to worry. She most certainly did the most important thing a female MC should do! She made herself "prettier." Yay. Good job I guess.
Anyway, I persisted in reading until the scene where she accidentally gives the OG!FL alcohol. At that point, I just stopped. Made me too annoyed. She doesn't have to be smart, but at least give her enough of a brain that she's not that careless.
The story could get better from here, I don't know, but I don't have any plans on reading more.
