People are so hell bent on potraying people they find strong as Demons and inhumane. They fear them so much to the point where they need them dead,without taking into consideration the consequences of doing so. The kingdom is so weak have they not considered that his existence is the reason as to why they remain still standing. I agree with everyone in the comments–if they lack appreciate, just leave them be why waste your strength to suffer from the shadows to protect people who don't care.
