Itās a pet peeve of mine when the chasing arc involves the seme saving the uke because that feels like a cop out and requires the seme to have no real reflection on his wrongdoings. This story had that, but he also did a lot more than most semes so it still felt satisfying, and I liked that the uke was so firm in his rejection.
Buuuuut the seme doesnāt even realize he likes the uke until ch 76, and doesnāt tell him he likes him until the last chapter, so of course we never see their relationship get to the I love you stage. Thatās a lot of chapters of pain just to get an I like you and a peck on the cheek.

I see it in a lot of dramas/mangas where the bad guy laughs manically before he dies and itās always so goofy to me (especially in live actions)
I do like this story but the tension is nonexistent. Everyone who works at the org is a big joke, those people are not a threat at all, the revenge plot was dropped immediately and both of the couples are a bit too similar for my liking.
Itās a shame because I see the potential and with a little reworking it could be a great story.
