to sumnary the whole story up Tite is obsessed with John and depsite John saying he doesn't love her he does. Tite knows that John love her but since John is destined to become the next pope he cannot marry and is prophesied to end the country's war. Later on in the story, John had to sacrifice the one he loves for the public to end the war. So John has this women who is gonna die and since Tite know that John love her she replace her and as you know Tite ended up being the one who died. She get burned to death and John was so devastated when he realized it was Tite being sacrificed. He tried to stop it. The other people thought it became a fake sacrifice cause they didn't know John actually did love her, so they thought that sacrifice wouldn't work. John admit he loved her but people thought it was another "love". However he really did love her and try to protect her instead.he knew about the sacrifice he would have to make, to sacrifice the person he loves to God to stop the war, so he lied about loving Tite so she doesn't get sacrificed but she took the position herself in the end anyway. She loved him and wanted to stop the war for him. The girl who was gonna get sacrifice saw John's dropped locket, opened it and saw frays of golden hair knew immediately that John had loved Tite all along. In the end Tite love for John only ended up killing her </3
