i just read a long, well written fanfic that was satisfying on many levels - except the main couple didn't do anything sexual.
it's the written equivalent of an awesome shounen-ai siiiigh
unless you're asexual or on that spectrum, how can anyone deal with that?? it's beyond frustrating.
HA HA HA FEEL OUR SUPERIORITY!!! XD just kidding even asexuals can understand your frustration y'know... Well of course sex isn't the most important part (I'm talking for me only there), but if there's enough fluffyness before even I can get a lil' excited (and so appreciate the sex scene) XD
My equivalent of frustration is when I find a manga with marvelous drawing, chara-design, great translation, cleaning, typesetting and so on... but with just sex in it. Like the characters randomly jump each other. I don't get it...
Maybe if you find the author of the translation you can try to ask them for the "tasty" part ^^ or you could try writing it XD
Hi, idk if this is too late, but I'd try answering.
For me, sex isn't entirely necessary when reading something, because in rl, i don't like sex as much as reading them.
But then again, when an author decided that yes, sex is definitely going to be the main point of a story, then the plot isn't entirely necessary.
But I know it was though when a reader wants to read sex scene and the author just doesn't comply.
I think, when being a reader, we shoukd just go with the flow the author wants us to go, and should just expect anything could happen, while expect nothing could happen as well. If the frustration is too much, then there are a lot of kind (and perverted) people in here who will share good manga with good sex scenes to you..
But then again this is the view point of someone who doesn't enjoy rl sex, so idk if you can relate.. ^^;
hope this help
it's 2:30 in the morning here and i'm watching the trump inauguration and why
why why dear god why
this is surely a huge prank or a farce because no way can a man like donald trump be president of the united states
Part of the problem is a lack of civics education in K-12 public education here. I didn't have a decent education in US civics (or other countries for that matter) until I hit college, and even then it wasn't worth much until I went for my bachelor's degree. There's a serious hole in our education system when it comes to relevant knowledge, but hey, we can number crunch with the best of them. I figure the gap only serves to help keep rotten, self-serving people in office, so they certainly won't work very hard for revamping our education system to favor the American people. After seeing who Trump chose to head the Department of Education, I'm even more convinced of this...
What's even more interesting is that Trump did not win the popular vote. The electoral college system made it so he could win. The US will likely see a lot more future presidents in office that did not win the popular vote, predicted by various statisticians, because of the way the electoral college system was designed. It's all very frustrating.
Not a trump supporter but seeing hilary clinton there where he is, wouldnt be any better (⊙…⊙ )
Yep, the easiest way to start a bloodbath in Puerto Rico is to bring up the topic of whether or not we should become a state. Lots of opinions regarding the matter. (●'◡'●)ノ And regardless, even if we decide to become a state getting a certain political party to agree to add a new state (filled with latinos) doesn't sound easy to do. Anyways, in my opinion (obviously biased), we're citizens, we pay (most) US taxes and federal law is above our laws so we should have some representation that actually counts and we should have the right to pick the leader. I mean, we already vote in the primaries so why not just go all the way? (Again, because of politics it's not so simple)
I think it was half and half, I have seen interviews with young Trump supporters, and they seem to be woefully ill informed. (example - many who hate Obamacare but like the Affordable Care Act do not realize they are one in the same) But you are on point with the 'well-off' older Alt-right Christians too.
that feeling when you don't know if you should read the new harada or not
oooh which new harada manga?
it's new-ish. i've been sitting around debating whether to give it a try. http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/nii_chan_harada/
ah that one, and i was excited because i thought there is new one lol you should read it, its so .. so .. ugh! lol
a friendly advice for you: never read comments! they can be spoiler-ish or very bullshit. better to read it and made your own opinion :)
Don't read it. It's too realistically painful to read. Idk if you know the summary already, but I'll say it here. Little kid was bouta get raped by pedo, his "nii-chan", but ran away in the last minute cuz he was scared. nii-chan disappears cuz he was caught by kid's parents and doesn't wanna get jailed you know. As little kid grows up he can't forget his nii-chan because he was brainwashed to think pedo nii-chan is a good guy and that the reason the pedo is now gone is because of him. He feels it's his fault the pedo doesn't like him anymore. One day he meets his nii-chan again and they have sex because kid wanted it. He was recorded and blackmailed to stay with his pedo nii-chan forever. Also nii-chan doesn't believe kid loves him, hence the blackmail. I dropped the manga on 3rd chapter, idk, wondering why I didn't just drop after 1st chapter? cuz I wanted to keep reading to find if there is a happy ending but it felt a little too much for me to take and it felt like there will be no happy ending. My summary only goes up to 3rd chapter. Whatever happens in the chapters after is unknown to me. So don't read it. Unless you're into rape pedo blackmailed sex kind of mangas.
You'll survive. I don't forgive or condone pedophilia and I usually hesitate over reading mangas dealing with these kinds of themes but sometimes I want to get out of my comfort zone and give them a try. The plot's really twisted as expected, however, when you get to chap 5 I think, the story becomes just a little palatable I guess if you like Harada's brand of plot twists.
honestly, one of the best things on this site is the 'who reads yaoi?' thread http://www.mangago.zone/thing/about/5888/
the diversity of people and their different nationalities, races, genders, sexualities, ages etc etc is absolutely extraordinary.
seriously, give it a read ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
y are there so many horrible, morally bankrupt people in the world?????? i mean those peole that are hurting others, hoarding wealth, persecuting cultures and miniorities, and destroying the environment. it's so hard for me to understand. why cant we be good and accepting off one another???1
im pretty drunkk atm fyi
ugh ikr (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ if only you could mind your business and let others mind their own theres too many people like that nowadays im even scared for my life sometimes T.T the other day me and my cute little gramma ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~were walking down the stairs and this guy just comes running down and pushes my gramma and curses at her ;-; she almost fell down when we reached down i saw him talking to a girl yeah thats fine but you didnt hafta push her and curse her bro thats just rude i gave him the meanest glare like WTF BRO U WANNA FIGHT COME AT ME YOU BITCH (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
i just wonder, among yaoi (and yuri etc) fans on here, do you also read fanfiction?
it doesn't seem like a lot of people read fanfic on here, but my perception could be wrong...
if you've never tried it and you're curious, i could recommend some good places to look :)
Yep. It isnt too hard to translate but they're are fucking long xD. If someone is Polish here i reccomend "Połączeni" fantasy style where are kingdoms and Princes and homosexuality is good. Story about a blind prince with sad backstory and no experience (uke) and his husband. They dont know ech other until their wedding. There is also other couple but i already writed this much. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
i have a visual memory, so it really messes with my mind when mangago changes the covers of mangas - even when they change them to a better picture.
me: ooo what's this new, potentially delicious yaoi??
*clicks on it*
me: oh, ive already read this
