I agree completely. Just that Maya acknowledged his wrongdoings in the past , felt guilty about it, and apologized for it is a big step in the right direction for combating the normalized rape trope in yaoi. Although some of us agree it may have been rushed or unsatisfied by it, just that it happened is noteworthy in this genre. baby steps...

no lie, i thought this was just going to be a mediocre pervert/rape yaoi. and while it is that, it's also a super tender, hot, *playful* love story. so good!!!!
i want both the seme *and* the uke but in different ways.
the big, gentle seme is sooo my type (those hands!), but the uke's uniqueness, sense of humour, and intelligence also really get to me.
i'm so grateful that we learn what motivates the seme's actions and we can see that he has a depth of love to rival the uke's - and that he really makes the effort to change his behaviour (he's always loved and cherished the uke, but his very poor self esteem and some of the legitimately bad parts of his character made him act the way he did).
