There's this naive uke and this bad boy gangster who's obviously the leader of a pack. So, anyways, these two belong to an all-boys school. The uke also had this tragic backstory before when he was a kid. He was adopted. His current mother was a nurse from the hospital and he was in a coma before too for 2 years. This was when he was 2 years old. Since no relatives came to visit, his life support was supposed to be cut off so the nurse didn't want that and adopted him. He apparently has a brain related illness that's why he's a bit slow in the uptake.
