Is yaoi (and other anime related content) a part of your social life?

None of my friend even watch anime, I'm pretty sure they don't even know what yaoi means. I'm too afraid to tell my best friend about this as she is disgusted with gay relationships... I even have to fake my reactions at times when we are talking about gays as our views are different. Its is kinda lonely as I cant share all these awesome mangas wit......
