I know we’re all feeling pretty bad for Astelieu since he’s just an ignorant child being tainted by the devil spawn Balzac, and I know in my head that children are children, but he was literally back-handing Florentia in chapter 0, so I’m less inclined to sympathize. the punishment was perfectly fair, and if he has any brains or decency he’ll stop being Balzac’s puppet and learn from this

I need this to be put in the middle school curriculum or something (ok, we can exclude the sex scenes if we have to, but that first story actually has a LOT of good lessons just within those few chapters). Gotta expose these kids to healthy relationship dynamics and acceptance of LGBTQ early on~

Also, can I just admit that I fell in love with Touji like literally. During the first story, I fell for him, but I there was a 95% chance they were the side relationship, so my heart kinda broke in the second story. Hisanaga, you lucky son-of-a-bitch

Idk if it’s a major plot hole or what, like maybe her mom cast some spell so that everyone would love her child (survival reasons) OR maybe she was blessed by fate when she was reborn (to receive love she never got in her past life), but obviously she isn’t the only one with cute genes (they’re all siblings, they look similar lmao), and The only person who’s favoritism if her might make sense is the emperor, since he seems more interested in her power than her cuteness (though it may be having a residual effect too). It *might* be that she’s had more exposure since she entered the fight at a younger age and thus, seemed smaller and cuter in comparison. Then again, it might just be laziness on the part of the author. This far in, I’m just staying to see if the plot hole isn’t actually a plot hole, and if she tries to unite her poor siblings… cuz the father is shit

No no no, *facepalm* how tf did we go from the “Yoon’s cousin is a rapist murder-attempting, deserves-to-die son of a bitch” to “I know you have feelings for me, I’m rejecting you”. I mean, this manga has addressed rape and at least hinted at punishment better than other but I was hoping that the guns and knives and mafia would prove useful in this aspect... like, actual revenge. Why would I give a fuck if his cousin is heartbroken?? What does him being (incestuously?) gay and in extreme denial have to do with what he’s done? It’s an insult to anyone actually in denial or in the closet. Yoon giving him an epiphany only makes him a soon-to-be openly gay vindictive, rapist, murder-attempting asshole. Maybe now he also goes around the gay community developing ‘crushes’/obsessions and starts assaulting them if they reject him. Yoon makes it seem like he almost blamed himself for the rape, for arrogantly ‘ignoring’ his cousin’s feelings, as if that excuses *anything*. And no, I don’t think anyone wants a rapist hanging around in a club they frequent, and no one wants to unknowingly have a one-night-stand with a rapist, murder-attempting waste-of-space.
