In fact, when you look at this event from Sejin's perspective, you might find it logical for him to think this way, even though it's not what he thinks. There are things he needs to overcome and he hasn't fully overcome them yet. I don't think Sejin should be pushed this hard. That's what I think.
First of all, I must point out that Mincheol is a complete jerk and we know that. Of course, reading about his past won't prove him right. But I have to say, I was surprised to see his younger self. He seems to have a pretty good personality. It felt bittersweet and strange to see him like this.
