kinda not? it feels like yaoi is tagged together w/ smut or r18 scenes while shonen ai is like only kisses/smooches and vanilla.
The reason why it's labeled as Yaoi, instead of Shonen AI, because there may be sex scenes in the future yaoi isn't always about pure sex and the author already included the "let's become mates thing", I assume that in the next chapters there will be some.
