I honestly don't think I can express in words over how adorably refreshing this entire manhwa was, and all I can seem to say is that despite sacrificing sleeping time to binge read this entire series, I don't feel tired at all. In fact, I'd say I feel enlightened. This was definitely a lot different from other BL series I've read, and it was so nice seeing a very healthy, very wholesome switch couple get through their obstacles and end up together in such a pure way. It didn't help that the art was one-part heartwarming & cute, and another part irresistible and immaculate, and that the story was binge-worthy till the very end~
I honestly feel so bad for Masayuki, and I think I can understand how frustrated he must be towards Gino. Just imagine how you'd feel if the guy you've been pining towards, for over 3 years (or something), tells you that he's "as straight as it could get", and you respect his personal space... but some other guy comes out of nowhere and effortlessly has your crush swooning over him. Rather than punching your crush directly (as some people may have suggested, surprisingly), isn't it natural to want to take your anger out on the person who stole the heart of your long-term crush away from you? Masayuki knew Keito before Gino, and has been watching over him with love way longer than Gino has, but Keito is choosing Gino over him. That's honestly really heartbreaking.
(Edit: I just realized my entire comment didn't post the first time so I'm here to rewrite the rest all over again )
However, that isn't to say that what Masayuki did was in the right at all. Keito, as straight as he was, happened to just fall in love with another person... who just so happened to be a man. Nothing more, nothing less. The point that I was trying to relay is that people have their reasons for certain actions, so please don't hate on them until you know the reason behind it (but if the reason is BAD, then by all means, feel free to hate/lecture away). Masayuki took his anger out on Gino, and though he really shouldn't have let his emotions out like that, it's no hidden fact that we're all but mere humans run by complex emotions. As Keito can't control his heart, Masayuki... (uh)... couldn't control his fist and anger (I guess).
...ON THE FLIP SIDE OF THE COIN, it's refreshing to see how mature and professional Keito can be (it's probably just me, but professional and mature men are pretty attractive~ ). Even after letting his concerns out at Gino about not wanting to be his f*** buddy at all, he didn't let that affect the workplace and a good portion of their daily lives, and it was pretty cute to see Gino trying to avoid touching Keito in any way because he loves his food THAT much.
TLDR; I hope the drama with Masayuki clears up in the best possible way, and I hope to see more of Keito being extra cute with Gino.
...Let's see if this posts correctly this time.
I'm very sorry to hear that your friend's confession ended in such a horrible way such as that, and I do hope your friend may be able to find someone much better than that guy who could have at least rejected it a little more delicately.
I can't tell your friend to stop liking him, as no one has the right to say anything like that, but I would suggest not obsessing over one guy. With this quarantine and lock down business happening, going out on friendly outings may be off the list for now, but try to have as much fun as you can together as friends~ Who knows? Maybe surprising things will happen in that time hahaha! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ
As expected, author's art is truly very immaculate and extremely pleasing to see, and you can tell that there was much improvement from their previous work, "A Guy Like You". I really want to believe that this story may surpass that, and while I can't deny that Go Yahwi entranced me the moment I saw him, I think we can all agree with the statement that the last thing we want for the (adorably naïve) MC, Lim Jooin, is for him to get hurt by the (very good-looking) love interest.
Warning: Please do not stick anything into yourself unless it is 100% clean/unused and sanitized. (╥﹏╥) And when doing certain plays, like urethra plays, please don't do it without having done a bit of research about it (or don't do it blindly, so to speak).
To be honest, even though Oono seems to be happily in love with Kureshima in the end, some part of me still despises Kureshima for what happened in Chapter 3-4. But I guess it was to be expected, considering how weirdly sweet and friendly he became towards Oono in the first two chapters. I also decided to do my best in reading the raws, and I feel like all the drama that happened in this story could have easily been avoided with proper communication.
But, I guess as long as everyone is healthy and happy in the end, everything's all right.
UM... FIRST OFF, I WANT TO TAKE SOME TIME TO APPRECIATE SUNHA AND HER STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL GIRLF-... I MEAN, CEO UNNIE (UWU)
AND SECONDLY, IF RYEOJOON AND HAMIN DON'T END UP TOGETHER WE GON' HAVE SOME PROBLEMS BC THEY'RE JUST... SO ADORABLE??????????? RYEOJOON'S BEING ALL JEALOUS (even tho he has no reason to~), AND HAMIN'S BEING ALL PROTECTIVE 8(*♡*)8
...*ahem*... Thank you for your time I am calm now
I think we can all agree that Dojin's most likely being influenced by jealousy (fufu~) and I find that kind of cute... but when you stop and realize that he's actually one of the few characters that actually say what's on their mind and confess that they're not okay, rather than create a giant misunderstanding by lying and saying they're "fine" (when they're really not) which would then probably lead to a strain in their relationship, the entire scene just hits different.
...It's probably just me, but I'm sobbing oof
Cain and Gyeong really out here making me feel things with how adorably wholesome and cute they are one moment, and how irresistibly attractive they both become the next oof ┗( T﹏T )┛
