I've Become the Villainous Empress of a Novel
Random girl gets yeeted into a tyrant Empress's body and hits the stop breaks before she gets executed by her own bodyguard. Snail paced romance, but the characters and the (political) world building make it worth while.

Remarried Empress
An ok shoujo story for what it's worth, but imho horribly overrated too.
There's little else to the story besides feeling catharsis over Navier's wins. After she remarries and leaves her problems (aka ex-husband and two-faced mistress) behind I stopped caring for much.
There's little to no substance besides seeing Navier slay while Sovieshu and Rashta slowly spiral downwards. It's enjoyable for sure, I enjoyed myself for a good while, but it's not enough with THIS many chapters out and about. The bad guys are just the bad guys and everyone that's good likes Navier in one way or the other. The basic ingredients are all there, it's just that the cook is refusing to do anything interesting with them.
I have to agree with that one comment, it really is a power fantasy. Navier never loses and stays perfect while everyone who wronged her swan-dives into despair almost instantly. It felt like part of her character as a careful and dignified ruler first but it's a turn-off for me now that it's revealed to just all be shallow story telling. That doesn't mean the story is shit, just that it's overstaying its welcome and refusing to become more interesting over time.
