Oh my gosh came back to reread the last two chapters then I read the 1st chap again oh my gosh taeju ...(I completely forgot how bad he was in the beginning) but got such good character development. I feel like he got such a good redemption arc. I like the fact that the both of them in end haven't completely forgotten what happened but have decided to move forward but whilst acknowledging that what conspired wasn't right. Both mcs got such good character developments.

I'm not hating because he weak, I'm hating because he's stupid. And according to spoilers hers really stupid and if I were empress I would've given up ages ago.
Everyone keeps saying maxi shouldn't have gone shes not ready, well tough they needed a healer and she's was their only viable choice. The knights were the ones who wanted her to go. They outweighed the time protecting her Vs her healing and preventing the death of other knights. So yeah, I don't care, this is good experience for her and if the knights need her and are willing to protect her in order to make sure there is a viable and strong way of preventing deaths of other knights go for it.
NGL but the duke is a shit father. He would've pointed his sword at killeon (and Edith) without hesitation, he has no sense of being a father. If it was for the good of the country he would kill his own children. Shitty guys don't deserve kids and Shouldn't be near kids. Imagine he does that to his grandchildren.
