These larl and dress arc can be summarize in 2-3 chapters but no they made a wholeaas arc for it. If he wont be a love rival or someone important I don't know how long the story can dragged out for a character that will have a significant role on the story.
and I'm gonna say it. the dress is not even as amazing as the story is hyping it to be.
