Sad to say the art sucks now. It used to be so pretty. Look at earlier chapters 1-10 for example compared to now. From Season 2 onward, the art steadily went down hill.

In the meantime, improve Veggie while Jaeyoung works at a gaming company in Korea. Good plan. I just want to know more about Jaeyoung’s grandfather and how he will handle the news about Jaeyoung’s boyfriend. He seems like the type who would be fine with Jaeyoung messing around with a man, but have a fit if Jaeyoung marries a man and “dishonors” the family. Jaeyoung’s twin brother is gay/bi too, I believe… Also, when do we meet Sangwoo’s family? I was hoping the author would explore the above.
So did season 2 take a different route than I originally thought? Yeah but it’s still good enough to stick by it. Hear me out… I think most if not all of us is uncomfortable with rape and as someone else said that is the reason for content advisory. If you feel uncomfortable, you have every right to NOT read this. Skip these chapters and then circle back when things (hopefully) get better. With that being said, although it was uncomfortable Matthew only did this bc he thought it was a dream. He’s angry and feels abandoned (not excuses) and typically dreams are where you could usually do things without consequence. I actually feel sorry for both of them. Jin bc he endured all of this despite his wounds and Matthew bc as soon as he realizes it is reality, he’s never going to be the same. If anything, he’s going to be the one to stay away and properly use drugs to only see Jin in his dreams. I truly hope this is the worst of it. Matthew made a huge…huge…huge mistake while being under the influence. I just re-read that chapter in season 1 when Jin asked Matthew to smile for him after reading these rough chapters.
Mental Instability + Rejection + Drugs = Chapters 49 + 50. Matthew will deeply regret it when he sees Jin’s reopened wounds and comes down from his high!
