So did season 2 take a different route than I originally thought? Yeah but it’s still good enough to stick by it. Hear me out… I think most if not all of us is uncomfortable with rape and as someone else said that is the reason for content advisory. If you feel uncomfortable, you have every right to NOT read this. Skip these chapters and then circle back when things (hopefully) get better. With that being said, although it was uncomfortable Matthew only did this bc he thought it was a dream. He’s angry and feels abandoned (not excuses) and typically dreams are where you could usually do things without consequence. I actually feel sorry for both of them. Jin bc he endured all of this despite his wounds and Matthew bc as soon as he realizes it is reality, he’s never going to be the same. If anything, he’s going to be the one to stay away and properly use drugs to only see Jin in his dreams. I truly hope this is the worst of it. Matthew made a huge…huge…huge mistake while being under the influence. I just re-read that chapter in season 1 when Jin asked Matthew to smile for him after reading these rough chapters.

the smut scenes would’ve been much better later on - once they had sex! Now, it is a “cart before the horse” scenario where there is nothing to look forward to (on that front) since we’ve seen it all. How do you top those smut scenes later? Glad it was uncensored though!

I feel like Jin used to be top but the guy on the phone was the one who made Jin a bottom. This is a dark erotica. It’s a pit of red flags. It’s not a wholesome slice of life. There is gonna be rape and abuse and pain and pleasure until Nakyum’s Stockholm Syndrome kicks in and he falls for Seungho. They are endgame. And Seungho is hardly going to change. He’s a villain and a tyrant and will continue to lock Nakyum up until he mindbreaks him.

No one is going to save Nakyum. He’s not gonna be free. He’s going to be with Seungho forever and they’re going to sit in their pit of beautifully dark smut.

And I love it. I love when Nakyum cries and Seungho gets that crazed, possessive look. I love when he forces Nakyum to suck his dick and I love it when Nakyum begs him to stop. And it’s cool cause they’re not fucking real.

So, many of you guys need to stop acting like you’re the saints of yaoi cause this shit isn’t getting any fluffier. So, you better go read some Cherry Blossoms After Winter or any of the other safe shit.

Honestly all this Seungho hate about how he doesn't have any character development and people complaining about the story seem so laughable to me. I think I'm the only one that thinks Seungho is such a well written character and I really appreciate the author because of it. Like in many manga of this type the plot states at the beginning that the seme is a dangerous, crazy etc man but then a few chapters later he sees the light and becomes sweet and nice like a whole different person and everyone screams from joy in the comments "character development". Like miss me with that bullshit that's just unrealistic writing. A person will never change so easily especially one with deep trauma. Here you can actually see Seungho's madness and inner struggle as he goes from building a connection with Nakyum and confessing to him to going crazy again after feeling betrayed and reverting to his abusive behaviour. I'm so happy his character and ugly side didn't disappear overnight cause he's "in love". He was so messed up from the beginning that him leaving his antics behind so easily would be actually laughable and wouldn't make sense in this kind of story. All the fans want to see fluff and the couple being lovey dovey I get it but this isn't that kind of story at all. These last few chapters were so satisfying for me and necessary because it reminded everyone that their relationship is messed up, that Seungho still has violent tendencies and that although he has affection for Nakyum he is still the same crazy man. Becoming a better person will probably never happen unless he gets past his trauma and past and learns how to trust others

Theorie on what is going to happen next...

As we can see SH violence reminded NK of his kidnapper...Then SH attached him (hands, feet, covered his eyes) in the exact same way and position his kidnapper did.

NK is going to break and will have a PTSD crisis...it's going to be really bad. Like realllyyyyy bad. Mr Kim will have to speak that's for sure and his sister will be here too. At the end SH is going to let NK go with his sister.

Just thinking about how SH is going to regret all of that after makes me feel better. The angst of the story is finally going to be satisfying...

Okay so I had this discussion with someone before that wanted Lord Seungho and Na-Kyum to end up together but personally I hope there’s a third character out there that comes in to sweep him off his feet and save him. At the start, he was in love with his teacher but even though he, he being the teacher, was aware that Na-Kyum was being r*ped, he took advantage of him to further his own political career. Lord Seungho took advantage of Na-Kyum after he got drunk and mistook him, him being Lord Seungho, for his teacher and rather than stop Na-Kyum Lord Seungho took advantage of his inability to say no and r*ped him. Na-Kyum falling in love with Lord Seungho feels more like Stockholm Syndrome, falling in love with your captor, more than anything else. Lord Seungho kidnapped him, threatened him, manipulated him, r*ped him, so I’m really not rooting for him but I know they’ll probably end up together. I typed this out just to get this out there because I’ve seen a lot of people support the relationship between them. No one should ever seek out or support a relationship between an abuser and their victim, don’t romanticise what is happening and gloss over the abuse, if any of these things are happening to you in wtv relationship you are in, reach out to others for help bc no relationship should be this way.
