He actually does but he has anger issues. In one of the other chapters he saw Dan’s hands bleeding and he got concerned but he didn’t say anything. He’s also said it time and time again that he never cares for gifts. Although Dan was just trying to do something nice for Jaekyung. That doesn’t excuse Jaekyung’s behaviour at all tho. That’s no way to show your concern lmfao

My brother got braces recently and said the same stuff u did rn, but now he says it got way better, he can eat mostly everything and it does not hurt anymore, also if a metal from it sticks out u should go see ur dentist bc it was sticking out in my brother's braces and it hurt him so they fixed it for him. Overall just give it like a week or two
as far as I know there are some prescribed and recommended things to eat when you have braces specially if its new,,(?)
Eating will be a pain in the ass, but I mostly survived off of cold foods since that kinda subsided the pain, *cough* ice cream *cough* , but eventually they’ll stop aching! The only part I hate about it is that every so often they’ll ache again.
I had braces for quite a while. They'll hurt for a couple weeks until your teefies get used to them and your gums/insides of your cheeks build up "callouses." Then it's really not bad unless you get your wires or rubber bands changed. Your Ortho should be able to give you packs of wax you can put on any brackets or wires that are especially pokey. Soft foods are your best friend for now, nothing crunchy, and nothing sticky like certain candies. I'd also look into getting a Water Pik. It makes cleaning around your braces 10x easier.
