Don’t excuse that bastards wrong doings on what he did to lizzies family in the first life. From the start of the story he let rosebitch control him and clearly have no sympathy for them when they where wrongfully executed. And if Lizzie hadn’t stepped in to take her sisters place nothing will change in his attitude. The only reason he sees and feels guilty of what he did wrong was because Lizzie fudging pointed it out to him multiple times, idc if u justify his messedup actions to his trauma coz that just a ploy by the author to humanize that bastard to make him lovable in front of our fl.
