the reason i miss my daughter when i read this is due to the simple fact that my older daughter lets call her S met and married her university sweetheart my younger daughter T who i share this account with is going to be marrying her life long best friend and girlfriend of the last 3 years NEXT month which means she and her wife will be moving a little further away due to the location of my daughters Business's which she started from a fund i and her old brother setup in her name when he was only 10 years old
just sad to me really because i have seen my own daughter get excited about being in a group with a girl she liked only to figure out she was only asked because she is a bookworm kind of breaks a fathers heart at at times really

something that ALWAYS bothers me about most yuri manga even more so LONG standing manga like this one is that they ALMOST never come out to the parents in fact i think i have found 3 TOTAL out of hundreds of of yuri manga i have read over the years and is sadly a subject close to my heart due in part to me being the PARENT of several lesbians 3 of whom have married their partners and one who is just waiting on the courts to say YES to her Emancipation so she can marry her life long best friend and partner but the COMING out and or WEDDINGS almost NEVER happen and it is saddening to me that we do not see more of it
Nice to see a fellow parent of LGBT kiddos here! My guess on the not coming out to parents is a combination of culture and fear. I relate to that, lol-I only came out to MY parents bc I had an LGBT kid and if they were gonna burn someone as a witch, it would be me, NOT them. My experience coming out to MY parents as a grown-ass human was ultimately ok, but there are still sometimes you just don't feel safe doing so. Sorry if that got too preachy or dark or anything. I also would like to see more general acceptance in yuri, and congratulations on your childrens' happy relationships. Love is definitely something to celebrate both in mangaland and real life.
i could not agree more well said . i was honestly not shocked at ALL when my daughters started coming out to me honestly my second oldest was the one who NEVER NEEDED to come out at all because i remember when she was 4 and asked if she could marry the PRINCESS from the movie she was watching and less than 20 years later she met and married her princess who can kick some serious ass lol she as born and raised in a dojo in Japan
