I remembering seeing this ch a while back in the raws & assuming that this was when chunwoo ended things with taesoo officially but clearly that’s not the case. & I’m re-looking at the raws & I’m getting annoyed with the plot. So Chunwoo & Hoin start hanging out & having a bunch of sex, but Chunwoo still thinks about Taesoo & Hoin is clearly aware of that & you can tell is hurt/bother by it. This is going on for another 20 chapters!!!! I’m like the fuck?!!!! Why is the author dragging this on forever. I know Hoin said he was okay & understood Chunwoo liked the other dude but it’s hard to see him in pain especially b/c Chunwoo still thinks about the other dude. Oh & now in the latest ch Hoin friends notice he’s hurting & stressed. Now it’s appears he also like Hoin since high school?! OMG this plot all over the pace. I still believe Hoin & Chunwoo are end game, but I’m like there’s been no progress for 20 ch, they’re just fucking while Hoin is in pain while Chunwoo still thinking about the other dude. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna have a talk, where maybe we understand why Taesoo was like that & they officially end things. Well that’s what I’m hoping for cuz I feel bad for Hoin. i saw the raws and it’s up to chapter 38, there’s still no fight or whatsoever but our baby uke seems to be sensing sum shit now and there’s this part where seme and uke were on a date then suddenly they ran into to uke’s big sis and shit kinda get awkward since seme and big sis knows each other,, but yeah the seme is literally hard to read lol

Saw the raws, I think it's gonna be cliche drama but honestly i'd have that than an extended load of miscommunication and useless stuff. But it's normal angst and eventually turns very fluffy so I'll keep looking forward to the translation.

1. Moonhyuk (ml) killed Yeonjin (mc), but they didn't found the body (is there hope? TT.TT)

2. Instead of enthusiasm, I think what mc felt is.. sth to look forward to, sth that make him wants to live, sth that excite him enough to make him not to kill himself. I assumed mc was depressed.

3. Mc likes ml, ml likes ex boss. Ex boss died after told ml to forget him/to cut ties with him.

4. At first, mc just want to use ml as a revenge to his dad. Then, mc wanted ml to love him back (he didn't know this was love, or at least he wanted ml to be interested in him, or he was just possesive). He slept w his old friend, the politician's nephew, just to get information about ex boss (chagang). This old friend likes mc.

5. Actually, mc wasn't into shibari/ropes when having sex, but since Chagang did it, he.. somehow didn't want to lose to him/jealous of him. Or he thought ml would be more into him if they had sex using ropes. Ml felt complicated about this, he liked it but it reminded him of Chagang (so he was sad, somehow, and angry why mc did this). 6. At this point, mc was really in love with ml.

11. There was a foreshadowing in last ch (44), that Yeonjin's child, Seonjin would know his dad slept with Moonhyuk. (well the scene was: mc had sex with ml, late for family's appointment, washed tgt, met seonjin. Seonjin thought why they smelled the same, did the use the same soap brand? or sth like that, I forgot. Not a native korean here).

12. Yeonjin's dad slept w the politician. The politician slept w Chagang. Chagang slept w Moonhyuk. Moonhyuk slept w Yeonjin. Yeonjin slept w the politician's nephew. Yeonjin hated his dad who made his mom lose her sanity & killed herself, Yeonjin's wife adore Yeonjin's mom who was kind to her/adopted her (I maybe wrong here). They decided they would divorce later, Yeonjin's wife would have the custody of the child, Yeonjin would die (not sure about this part) after avenged his mom, so Yeonjin's dad would have nothing.

13. I wonder why Chagang told his left hand to 'betray' him. I had a feeling that this related to Moonhyuk. Why the politician wanted to kill Moonhyuk as well? Is it jeaolusy? Why Moonhyuk must die?

alcohol aging then hes grandpa gets pissed off and is going to give him a talk but he fainted and was sent to hospital Again so gramps sends him to America hes there for 6 months then his grampa got sick so came back visited him and his uncle introduced a girl to him to marry he meets the chick but doesn't plan to marry also till now he was working in the internment company but then he stars working at the headquarters as the heir,in his time in usa he came in terms with his feelings that the unpleasant feeling was love and he fell in love with Yoon Heegyeom at first sight, i don't remember what happened but he ended up in the editing room were Yoon Heegyeom was, the movie was filmed with now script and Yoon Heegyeom was super sad so he was sleep in front of the computer and a tear Fell from his eyes and Jaehan couldn't bear it so he decides to reshoot the movie with his personal fonds and get the actress Yoon Heegyeom wanted in the first place then they were alone at a room they said some stuff and then Yoon Heegyeom kissed Jaehan aggressively then flipped him made him face the wall and did him on the spot and when Jaehan is like why he says its hwadae, Jaehan meeting me what if they r together so he asks Yoon Heegyeom to change actor he says no and they broke up again, Yoon Heegyeom keeps texting and wanting to meet him but he ignores and one point he texted im waiting for u in our home(Jaehan bought an apartment as a shared place when they first got together)and Jaehan again doubts what if he really has feelings for me but dismissed the thought, so its movie premium again Yoon Heegyeom textd him he went but Yoon Heegyeom wasn't their he watched the movie and he is living when Yoon Heegyeom drags him to this dark room and kisses him Jaehan is still suspicious so he thought maybe there was a camera their tells chief kim to check it and lives with Yoon Heegyeom and goes to his home which nobody expect him, kim and maid set foot into even the ex-wife so they decide to continue thier relationship and they were having a harmonious time and Yoon Heegyeom was living in Jaehans place but then one morning nows came the actor who Jaehan wanted Was such a selfish and irredeemable POS. He didn't deserve a "good" ending. He deserved to pay for what he did to the father's son and how mistreated and used people around him. His nature is far more twisted than the father's who was seeking revenge for his son that were killed so brutally and vindictively. For making the mistake of showing kindness and sympathy to someone who clearly did not deserve it. The big reveal of this is, Minjae was the real villain of this story all along.

Even his "trauma backstory" did not justify what he did to Eusang.

Okay okay so.....my understanding of the myth: so the moon is killed by the dude who becomes the first vampire, and the moon...'births' these reincarnated versions of himself and his lover, death? Did I get that right?
Like I assume the 'human of the night' is meant to be like....a vessel for death?? As a way for them to be together as humans?
So Agia is the human of the night aka the vessel for death. And Ken is the reincarnation of the moon, and that's why he has memories of the child version of the big bad vampire (unless that's another totally random vampire kid lmao) and had met him in his previous incarnation as the original moon....thoughts anyone??

juhan will find out he gu was meeting with his ex (feng zhang) and get really pissed/jealous and stop him from meeting ex. they start fighting over he gu. he gu becomes close with gu qingpei and they become kinda bffs (gu qingpei is actually a main character of the author's other story called "Beloved Enemy" where his love interest is Yuan Yang, another chaebol of a company gu qingpei leaves his and he gu's old company for). he gu finds out that juhan & feng zhang (ex) actually used to "date" and "fool around" (yes, in THAT kinda way) when they were like 16/15. he gu feels like an idiot in between the both of them. but eventually their "love" is dismissed as a childish thing, and he gu becomes the object of both juhan and feng zhang's "affection". juhan realizes he can't live without he gu by his side attending to him all the time so his behavior becomes obsessive to a point where he almost strangles he gu to death. they try to start over with the condition that juhan stops sleeping around, but he gu realizes he can't change when he hears a groupie moaning in his dressing room at a backstage of one of his concerts. to prove a point to he gu, juhan brings his band member to he gu's apartment (which juhan actually paid for, including he gu's land rover), and his member starts smoking weed. he gu is furious when he arrives. the police get there, they get detained because of the drugs, and song media's (juhan's father's company) lawyer advises for he gu to become a scapegoat. juhan hates that he gu has to shoulder his own fault, but does poorly at trying to make up with he gu (he keeps trying to offer he gu material things which he gu really doesn't want. juhan only understands the transactional nature of relationships). he gu is dismissed from his job at the company and considers working for gu qingpei. without telling juhan, he leaves for a solo trip to europe. juhan is furious and has hackers find out where he gu went and follows him there with his private jet. he catches up to he gu without he gu's knowledge and waits for him at his hotel lobby when he gu was about to check out. a dutch-chinese guy recognizes him and asks for his autograph. that chinese guy is actually he gu's tour guide, he yi. when he yi tells he gu he met juhan at the lobby (without knowing their history together), he gu says fuck the itinerary and flees the hotel. he and he yi go for a 3 month european escapade. he gu realizes he's likes he yi's company and they have sex where he gu tops for the first time. fast forward, juhan and he yi fight and he gu becomes unconscious. he wakes up in juhan's private island.

it is clear that during their 6/7 year fuckbuddy relationship, he gu has been "intoxicated" with juhan and has been desperately clinging onto the hope that juhan will come to love him.

after the fiasco that was he gu being kidnapped in juhan's private island, they return to china. after a while, he yi follows him to china and when juhan finds out ofc he goes crazy. juhan desperately wants he gu to return to him, remembering that he gu "always returns to him" despite all the fucked up shit he does. he gu gets a message from juhan detailing the status of the company of he gu's mother. he finds out that she is in a great amount of debt and that the company is going down. + the fact that his mother is in a failing marriage with her 2nd husband + she has breast cancer. he gu realizes that the only way he can at least alleviate this and save the company is by letting juhan (and his influential family's insane amount of wealth) intervene. he gu also gets a call that he yi has been detained for fighting with juhan. he gu knows that only by staying with juhan can all these troubles be solved. he confronts him in which juhan challenges him by asking him to have sex. when he gives in, he gets mad that he gu would offer his body saying that he wants he gu's heart instead. he gu has no choice but to stay in the palm of juhan's hands. he yi is released but at this point, he gu knows he can't stay with him so they go their separate ways.
fast forward, he gu speaks with juhan's mother about juhan's attitude and how juhan doesn't know what the meaning of love is. she promises to speak with juhan about his actions towards he gu. eventually, it is time for juhan's concert which he gu is made to watch on the tv by his half-sister. towards the end, juhan offers a surprise performance, a song called "AI HE GU" (because chinese language, apparently this can also mean "Why Love is a Sin" or simply, "I love He Gu". in this case, the meaning can be ambiguous). after this, juhan professes his love for someone to the audience (he gu knows it is him) and decides that he will retreat to the behind the scenes and become a songwriter instead (no longer becoming the huge personality that he already is). after this, juhan's fans begin to connect the dots about he gu and juhan's relationship. his personal information is leaked online and when he brings his sister to the airport to return to shanghai, he is harassed by a fans + paparazzi. juhan rescues them and takes their private jet to shanghai the next morning.
in shanghai, he gu meets with his mother's husband and discuss about their failing company. his stepfather and his son are greedy assholes that don't want their mother to benefit from potentially selling her shares. when he gu heads out, he gets abducted again! he gu wonders if it is juhan or a crazed fan, but no, the abductor is a crook hired by his devious stepfather! juhan once again comes to the rescue and fights with the abductor/s. he is almost beaten to death. at the hospital, he gu confronts juhan's family where juhan's dad blames him as always causing trouble to his son. in the end, he wants he gu to completely disappear from juhan. he heads to singapore to visit gu qingpei to cool his mind, but gets a call that the injured juhan doesn't want to eat/has become restless without he gu's company. he gu reflects on this and he returns to china. after further reflection & agreeing with juhan that in order to proceed with their relationship, they should have more communication with one another, he gu decides he will give "them" another chance.
over the course of their renewed relationship, juhan has proven to show some changes, in which he gu, though reluctant, is reminded of that time in their high school days when he was in a one sided relationship with juhan. basically, his heart has began to stir up again.

*apologies for doing a really bad job at explaining things. as you can see, the novel had so many things going on that it may be hard to summarize. also, there's alot that the manhua might omit from the novel to maybe simplify/solidify the plot so let's see where this takes us. but yeah, to make the long story short, he gu does end up with juhan in the end.
