This was amazing. It was realistic, raw and heartfelt. The way anxiety and depression were shown throughout the story was magnificent. To me this wasn’t just a story, it was a lesson. For me the main takeaway is that communication is key! Also no matter how bad things may get, it can always turn around. It just takes time.

ANYWAYS, this story is top 10!!! I’ll probably read this again in the future! Some side stories would be amazing too

Heyy y’all! This is my alternate ending. SO SPOILER ALERT!!! DON’T READ BELOW UNLESS YOU’VE FINISHED!!

Lou succeeds in locking Miron and Jack in his room. Throughout the time that Miron was passed out, Caleb called the old master (Lou’s father) and asked for backup to save them. In the midst of that, Finn and Lou barricaded Miron and Jack in Lou’s room long enough for all three to escape (Caleb helped as well, but after the call). Morning comes and Lou, Caleb and Finn are escaping. By the time Miron and Jack get out of the room, they see that the other three are escaping via helicopter. This leads Miron to have a mental breakdown and question his morals. He snaps and apologizes to Jack for snatching his hand away when he got upset with him because Lou escaped the room. He then confesses his love for Jack and they fall to their knees and cry. Lou, Caleb and Finn escaped and Miron and Jack lived to see another day!

The Epilogue (below)
Lou and Caleb are now happy and safe at home with the old master, but they refuse to live with him due to their dark past. So they come up with a REAL scientific research team to help find the cure for the zombie outbreak and chooses to live at another one of the shelters. Throughout the research, Lou and Caleb have a healthy and happy relationship. They get engaged in the near future.

-Miron and Jack’s ending-
Once the helicopter flew away with the 3 people they wanted to kill, they realized that there’s nothing else they can do now. However, they start to see that the shelter they damaged is still in pretty good shape! They spend about 2 weeks fixing it up and clearing out all zombies that got in. They now live there and are both comfortable and happy. They have food, hot water and weapons. They do come across more survivors and debate whether they should build up a team or kill them. (This would be a setup for a sequel series)

Thank you for reading my alternate ending! I made this because that other ending was too tragic. Please refer to this one if you didn’t like the other! I’m positive this would happen in an alternate timeline. Hopefully the author or an avid fan can make this alternate ending come true! Also I would just really love a sequel to this series. Feel free to comment on it

Okay yall I got some opinions...

-This story is good asf! Like the overall plot is amazing and it’s wayyyyy better than Paramour. Like there are so many storylines and each of them are BOMB! Like I really can’t complain. This is probably my favorite work from this author and I haven’t even finished the entire story yet.

-This family tree and confusing and nasty. Like everyone is related but they’re also not at the same time??? I’d appreciate if someone can explain it me, LIKE PLEASE! I AM SO CONFUSED

-Chung deserves BETTER!!!!! Like tbh Sha Hu Rong and his silver haired brother’s reasoning for being infatuated with him really does upset my spirit. Like y’all are crazy and need major help. I’ll give Rong some credit because he went about it a better way and Chung seems to be really interested. ALSO shoutout to the one armed bully for killing Chung’s and his brother’s childhood rapist (even though he literally doing the same thing)

-Every character besides Chung and Rong’s assistant is hella unlikeable. Lei Mei (Rong’s ex fiancé) is hell cool too.

-FINALLY! Chung’s twin brother needs THERAPY!!! Like omg, he’s clearly projecting and deflecting all his anger and frustration on his brother. Also he needs his own story! Him, his boy group, and his potential hubby would be an interesting read. I’d love to see him work through his trauma and embrace his brother. He has a lot to be grateful about, he’s just holding on to his past and letting his trauma affect in unhealthy ways.

Anyways dassit! CHUNG FOR PRESIDENT
