Its not about Aqua dying anymore,its just that the execution fell so flat that it was lame! Idk if its just me but Authors now just make sad ending for the sake of it.There’s nothing worth crying about.Nothing impactful you will always reminisce about! Lets talk about Banana Fish,i knew the ending but i still watched it thinking nothing….yet i cried so hard when it happened! Thats what you call a good execution! Heck even Aldnoah Zero…Even tho i’m still angry about that s2 but i still cried like a water fountain for slaine.But Onk had me like WOT? Lets put Aqua wanting to live Aside…If you foreshadowed it this hard and with such an amazing build up,atleast give him a worthy ending no? And idk about y’all but i definitely don’t think Ruby is happy in the end! She’s living the life of lies.Just like Ai,crying inside but using those emotions to lie to everyone and smile.
Its not just Onk! I mean what was the ending of JJK and MHA as well? We are experiencing a down in manga endings right now
