The art is pretty cute and the premise pretty lighthearted... I wasn't expecting how flipping dark everything was gonna get.

A really fun premise, where it's interesting that our MC is our MC. The name feels really apt.

One of those ones where the main lead is crazy as are quite a few of the characters. Honestly would have been interested in the web novel if only because the translation is a little bit lacking.

Torn between the utter adoration of this world and characters as well as the ridiculous amounts of misinformation about corsets. I mean, tight lacing was a thing for the upper echelons but considering our empress is not in her girlhood and really physically active, the idea that 23 inches would be something she'd be going for is ridiculous. It's annoying since a lot of other things are so solid but I have to keep reminding myself that the author probably did not have the same amount of access go media from women in historical fashion and wouldn't know they're essentially waging war on what were at the time, bras- some people hate them, some people love them but no one is out there wearing a push up bra all the time, even to sleep. Also, kinda turnt that Lester gets so much suspicion for being really upstanding, especially considering what was period appropriate. I think this suffers from having a 'modern' lead who's trying to 'fix' a time period and not really giving credit to the people who are living and grew up in those times.
Interested to see how the romantic aspects shake out though since it's gotten pretty wild.
