It embraces the darkness of love very well. "Is it love if you don't feel restlessness when the person you love seems to fly away from your reach any moment? How is it that the moment they came to our life brightens it up so much? Would there be eventually nothing left, other than the feathers proof that they were here, linger?"

What the black-haired girl did was not right, no one can argue with that. But I don't think that's what the manga wants to focus on. Like the author said at the end "As long as we have each other, that's all what matters" tho is a dangerous line of thinking, it touches on the most humane part of us - which is not perfect and yearning for "nutrients" - however each person defines it.

I tried to put my thoughts into words but perhaps for now this is my best attempt. To me, the feeling of love in this manga can almost be represented by the feathers - so delicate, so hard to grasp, yet so beautiful and desirable. Once that uncertainty is rip off, it declares the raw greed hidden behind that enchantment..

Overall, I l like it, it was a very intriguing read!

It's one of the very rare manga that makes me fall in love with all the couples featured in it (in a platonic sense ofc). When I picked this one up I did not expect it to give me such an emotional journey.

Based on a very simple concept: "If we don't tell, then they will never know." Yet Ohsawa Yayoi sensei was able to weave it into a touching and heartfelt lesson about the insecurity of love and the courage to grab a hold of the present instead of drowning in fear of what could possibly happen in a far-fetched future.

I saved so many meaningful moments they share and those which made my heart flutter. A very beautiful read indeed and I truthfully hope they will be happy forever :') Tysm for sharing this masterpiece with us!

I just read the most recent chapters in the novel.
The first mention of age was only in passing when Heinley said he wished he was born 5 years earlier so he could have been a prospect for Navier’s husband before she got chosen to be crown princess.

This gives a clue that Heinley might be 5 years younger than Sovieshu. Since Sovieshu and Navier seem to be childhood friends, it’s safe to assume that Navier may be more or less 1 year younger than Sovieshu.

Now here’s the spoiler, after all the emotional trauma of pining for Navier, finding out that Navier is pregnant, that Glorym (that’s the name of the “princess” Trashta gave birth to) is not really his daughter after a VERY PUBLIC paternity test, and the aftermath damage of Trashta being a reckless empress with a massive debt to Duke Ergi and revealed slave past, SOVIESHU LOSES IT.
He gets drunk and jumps out of his bedroom window and wakes up with amnesia.

His secretaries detect that he went back to his 19 year old memories when he asked to check on Navier who he tought was still recovering from an injury from peach falling on her head. This memory was 6 years ago when he was still Crown Prince.

So, of we do the math and estimate:
Sovieshu was still crown prince at 19. Everything that’s been happening now is 6 years from that.
They might have assumed the throne when Sovieshu was 21, Navier 20, and Heinley 16.
So, their ages now at THIS storyline is Sovieshu 25, Navier 24 and Heinley 20.

WTF SOVIESHU WHY WAS HE IN A HURRY TO HAVE AN HEIR WHEN NAVIER IS STILL YOUNG AND HEALTHY. IT REALLY IS ON HIS OWN STUPIDITY TO BLAME FOR SEEKING OUT A TRASH AND DIVORCING THE PERFECT WOMAN.

I'll write a little summary here:

Loid and Yor stumble upon a flower shop while making (un)conscious efforts to spend more time together. Having flowers in the home becomes a habit, but Loid always gifts Yor with a certain blossom. The gesture holds more meaning behind it than meets the eye. There's also a little bonus comic at the end. Contains majority fluff with a little angst.

It is about the way society is trying to put you into these stereotypes like machines to become adults who lives as expectations. And this man who is a magician is the opposite. He doesn’t live by the rules humans put us to. He may seem crazy to people in the harsh society but all he has become was a person not everyone would dare to become. He became a magician ( tho magician is mostly a symbol of expression in this webtoon ). Not like a lawyer or a doctor because he didn’t wanted be that as he also had no idea of what to really become for his future. He didn’t know what was to become a right adult. What is becoming a right adult anyways? He lost his way on the path he was going for becoming an adult. He wanted to stay a child because he had nowhere else to go. He created his own happiness and world. So basically this whole webtoon is trying to show the readers to be who we want to be even if life isn’t fare and hard. You may be like Ai who is this very poor girl that is suffering in debts and life without her family and no ways for dreams etc or you may be like il Deung who is lucky with a family and rich and has a ready backed up a path for his future, but they both were unhappy and lost. But they managed to find a new path for their dreams thanks to the magician who is the opposite of the society, who showed them that they didn’t have to be proper adults or to be “ right “ stereotype society asks of them. That is what they have realized after seeing the magician’s world he kept on trying to show the two fo them. He is a real magician. Cause he showed them a beautiful new reality. So
That means “ you have to stop looking at the expectations of others or society for you and no matter what never give up on anything you believe in and want to do and become “. This is the message of this webtoon. I hope I managed to explain it well… this webtoon truly is one of a kind. I literally felt so suffocated while reading because I understood just how stressful i put myself in the these situations. I literally cried like a baby till the end. It was just so true and touching. Knowing all this and reading and seeing another person showing you what u feel is really mesmerizing. I also hope the magician is doing alright somewhere and happy in his own magical world.

I missed this manga so much. ethics goes hand in hand with my humanities major so its always nice to reevaluate my own biases and sense of morals of what is and isn't "right"

The Kirishima-sleeps-around argument as to why he shouldn't be the end game is pretty invalid since the author already clarified that Shouma has been sleeping around too. Author even tweeted about it a while back that Yoshino does not see neither of them to be potential lovers because she has seen first hand that they have a lot of women around them (implying the sleeping around thing). However, I guess Shouma hoeing around is a lot better than when Kirishima does it since Shouma is not in that kind of relationship with Yoshino. But even with Kirishima, Yoshino doesn't really see him in that light lol (as a lover).

I found this comment on YouTube by '@Haddy The Bored'. An interesting thing they said was that (in Anime) when Hanako gave the mermaid scale to Yashiro, he said it'll bind them in this life and the next life! Possible bittersweet, reincarnation ending? I went to go check the manga after this, in the 1st chapter they both swallowed the fish scale and their "fates have been tied together." "...They will be placed under a dreadful curse, but tied together by an extremely strong bond." Could it be their curse was to experience a tragic ending together, but meet again in their next life?

Chapters 22 - 50 are in the PRESENT TIME. Zhan Zheng Xi is in College and Jian Yi, who has been missing for 3 years, is now back and apparently living with him(?) as he makes up high school. The only background that we're given is that Jian Yi went missing the 2nd day of his and Zhan's first year of high school.

Chapters 51+ are set in the PAST. They're a flashback to Zhan's and Jian Yi's third year of Middle School (yes they are 15 and middle schoolers so calm your horny down a notch lol). We see the build up of the friendship between the four boys and their individual relationships. Everything we're reading now is building up to their middle school graduation and eventually the day that Jian Yi disappears.

EXCEPTIONS -- Some of the SPECIAL Chapters, such as Ch. 224 - The Christmas Special, are also set in the PRESENT. Which is why we see that the boys look a bit different, and in this specific chapter Jian Yi mentions that everyone else is in college but him (bc he has to make up high school).

As things have developed I'm sure the creator probably didn't realize this would be such a BIG project or so popular so they've probably have added and developed things in the PAST chapters, that don't translate well to the PRESENT chapters ( such as Zhan's Present personality in the early chapters being a bit more snappy and irritable, while his current Past personality actually shows him be a bit more laid back and mellow). DON'T look too much into it. Just enjoy things as they develop. The author may go back and revise the Present chapters to match things up a bit more.

My speculations: The number of lines on her hand is the number of lifes she lived. She is reborn every time she is killed. Her fate is to wander into the town following the rails, every time she wakes up, and find her demise there. The captain wanted to look closer at Lisa because she thought she recognized her, as she has already killed her before.

This hits too close to home.
When I was on my last year of high school I met this amazing girl, that still is my best friend. I thought all my life I was straight. Homosexuality was not an option in my family. They used to say that they were disgusting, going to hell and was not normal. So obviously, I thought that too.
But then, after I met this girl, I felt a different kind of love, so different from my other friends. I cried when I started thinking "why does this feel different?, why? Just why?".
I was scared, of what people will say, what my friends will say, and most of it, what my family will say. So, like her I denied my felling and kept being her friend.
Then we entered university, same major, same classes, same classroom. And one day she told me on a recorded message that she loved me. I didn't know how to react, I was happy, but at the same time terrified of all the things above. So in the end I also ignored what she said.
One week later or so, a guy who was interested in her since we entered the major, started dating her.

It's been 4 years since that, and I thought that I was already okay, but I cried so much after reading this. I remember what I felt when she told me "that's my bf btw" and how empty I felt.
I just want to say to everyone that read this.
Don't be afraid if you feel similar to her. I know how hard is to come with your sexuality, especially if you have people that you are close to that hate the lgbtq+ community.
You're not rushed, come in terms with yourself when you're ready, not because you feel like you need to, but to feel better mentally and with yourself.
Don't let people decide who are you, what to feel and what to do. That something that only YOU can do. If you like girls it's fine, if you like boys it's fine, if you don't that's fine too. There is nothing nothing wrong with that. We are not doing anything wrong, like she said "it's our nature".
It's like I don't like mint and chocolate, but there's plenty of people who do like it. Thats it, let's move on.
People will always have something to hate, but don't let them win, don't let them have what they want. Just you do you, and tell people to focus on their own business, because where they are putting their noses is not.
Just know that you are loved, by me and many many more. You can talk to people just search for the right one, one who wants to listen and understands you.

I can't take how cute and dumb he is. Also I'd like to point out how he never gets an initial reaction to crimes until people call it out and say it's a horrible or an evil deed. He's a legit sociopath, and he's friends with that girl because she's a big empath and helps him identify people who are evildoers. This can also be proven how he kills them through the way they've tortured people, because he knows what they did was bad (he doesn't actually know its bad he just believes it is because other people say so) so he’s doing it to them too. He believes that doing this is good because, hey, they're being put into "justice". Which I can say, yeah, they deserve hell. But if we look at it in a real life view, he's evil as fuck (obviously) . He can't tell from good and bad and is only following what others say, especially from the empathetic girl. This also shows how his other duality of being a somewhat innocent cinnamon roll of a man he is, just really matches his inability to understand wrong and right. Love how the author really shows this with how he didn't care about the homeless man until the girl said it was a horrible act. I can't believe I only noticed this now, absolutely love it!

Imagine going after someone who PAID for your webtoon. Not giving a rats ass about the mental trauma you could be causing them after preaching about your own suicidal feeling. What a hypocrite. I deeply regret buying any of the webtoons chapters. She straight up managed to guilt trip me into it as well.
