    I don't understand why they take so big offense to it. It's almost as if just because they happen to pertain to a certain group and when a manga also just happens to be about that group, they take it as if it were a personal attack and they have the right to gatekeep and dictate that it's not allowed. Honestly just seems like juvenile behavior to me.

    No thats not a fact. If people actually go out in the real life world and start fetishizing men then it's a fact and theyre dumb. But there is no correlation between fetishizing real life people and reading yaoi or yuri manga.

    Eh they just seem sorta dumb but thats about it tbh lol. It's just a fantasy that they have but when they put it so lightly without thought like that, their ignorance can be pretty insulting. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ it's pretty harmless as long as thats all they say/do though.
