i can finally chill.
update: ch. 24–29.. thankfully, chief yoon stopped them, he also succeeded in convincing the spirit to go with the exorcists obediently but then jaegyeom appeared to rescue him. i’m satisfied, but wait there’s more. obviously, jaegyeom attempted to kill all of them, with chief yoon as his primary target.. but he failed, no one died. yoon is surprisingly very strong.
on ch. 29 chief yoon stated that naryecheong will collapse soon and all spirits that have been captured by the exorcists will be released + he himself will be the reason for its collapse. atp, it’s pretty obvious where the story is going.. jaegyeom will eventually give in & become allies with him, then they’ll develop feelings for each other, and so on.

i remember reading this manhua on webcomics when i was around 9–10 years old ): i’m now turning 17 ! i’m super glad that i remembered & decided to read this gem again..
back then, when it was still ongoing, i was literally hooked on every chapter that came out.
tho, i had to stop reading for like years because i wanted to focus on my studies, that’s why i didn’t have much time to read anymore.
when i randomly decided to look this up on mangago just yesterday, i was shocked to see how many chapters there are now, as well as the sudden change of art style T^T !
and since i have missed a lot & kinda forgot about the details, i decided to binge–read everything from the beginning yesterday, & i’m really glad that i did.
because when i was younger, some parts of the plot were a bit hard to understand, but now that i’m older, everything makes a lot more sense now & i appreciate it even more.
i really really enjoyed this, the art style improved a lot.. it became even more beautiful.
i’m super proud of the artist. i’d really love to hear what the characters actually sound likeee hjshzs i still have a lot to say but ihshahahs i really don’t want this manhua to end !!
this applies to all manhua/hwa that i used to read ! i can’t remember most of it now tho ):
i love leona, i’ve been rooting for them ever since ! i knew they would really end up together when they get older.. :DD

i’m here bcs i was looking for sum manga that has a kindaaa similar plot with fushigi yûgi (my all time fav, oh and pls do recommend me some). anyways , i’ve seen comments saying that yuri and miaka r quite similar & i kind of agree lol.. they’re both stupid, reckless, annoying, often cause problems/troubles to the ppl around them but i still love 'em tho, specially my miaka :3 !
this manhwa is really awesomesauce, is it even necessary to call this a bl ? i dunno if it’s just me but.. i honestly don’t feel any chemistry between the two of them. it’s a waste that this manhwa is not read more widely because of the genre. because maybe, if this manhwa weren’t labeled as bl then more people would read this. (been seeing lots of comments about this on other platforms..)
my apologies since i haven’t read the light novel yet, but this manhwa is definitely going to be a slow–burn romance. looking forward for more chapters.
uhm, about the tag, no this is not yaoi, it’s shounen–ai..
Chemistry isn’t just instant attraction—it’s something that can grow through interactions, conflicts, and shared experiences. The story is still in the early stages (only 23 chapters in), it makes sense that the characters wouldn’t have deep chemistry yet, especially if their personalities or circumstances don’t immediately align for romance. I feel like this is a breath of fresh air compared to the odd pacing in majority of BLs in which a lot of them feel sloppy and rushed.
And if people don't want to give BL a chance, then it's their lost honestly. There are so many good and genuine storylines they might have missed. But hey, at least we get to read them, right?
