Don't know if it's a comedic story with dark undercurrents or a dark story told in a comedic way? Anyway, there was a lot of messed up shit. Had my qualms about the seme at first, mostly about buying sex and telling our helpless, desperate-for-money-uke to suck his dick after supposedly "saving" him from another pervert, but I was satisfied when the roles were reversed and the uke told the seme to go down on him in the latest chapter.
Well, I just love redemption arcs and I just loved seeing how cute and obedient the seme turned out (although the character development was kinda rushed). Love a blushing seme. He even offered to let his own body be sold to save the uke! And it seems like he also had been forced to sell his body in the past. And as horrible as it is (wouldn't wish it upon anyone!) I like when they dare to switch up the "gender roles" a bit. They sometimes have semes-turned-ukes but they almost never have semes who have experiences being on the receiving end. Probably something about being afraid the seme would "lose" his masculinity. So I actually applaud the author for daring to do something unconventional!
That being said the story was very confusing and the ending felt rushed. And I didn't get when the seme actually started caring for the uke so much? It's not like they had that much interaction. And it would have been nice if he had actually said his feelings out loud, even if it was pretty obvious.
