Wait so did I miss something? (⊙…⊙ )

Didn't the alpha rape him?! Which was super traumatic. But then the omega forgives him just like that? Or could it even be considered to forgive him sine the alpha didn't even apologise for it? He apologised for biting him but unless I missed it I don't think he apologised for the actual rape? Instead the omega and the black haired guy apologised for it. The black haired guy didn't even do anything wrong!

I mean I do kinda like the alpha now, he's kind and not as toxic as some semes can be, but it still feel it's weird how easily he got away with it.

    Yuuya February 2, 2021 5:50 am

I think the reasons that omega forgive him
    1. The teacher told him that both of them are victims because of the heat (i hate that teacher for separating them)
    2. The alpha sincerely want to be his pair (when the omega goes into heat, he didn't bite his nape because he really want to atone for his sin)
I think this is way to ask for forgiveness without saying the word 'sorry'
This is just my opinion btw and my english sucks

I almost had a heart attack! For a moment there I almost thought Dojin was going to offer bottoming so that Hyesung could experience what it is like being on top. (≧∀≦) And now I can't get that image out of my mind.

I guess it's fine though the way it turned out. I feel like in other stories the seme might have become really agressive and been like "I'll show you you're best suited as a bottom!" but here he actually helped him experience what it would feel like so I'm happy. A blowjob would have been even better ohoho ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

The concept of a dominant alpha being jealous of omegas is just so funny and different!

So I may be a bit late to the party but I just have to write. I'm so pissed off at how all the rape and sexual harassment Rix goes through is never addressed. I don't like it happening at all, it makes me feel bad and it doesn't develop the plot, but what bothers me even more is that they never really talk about it. Like these last chapters, it hurts seeing Rix be humiliated like that, and I would imagine it would be traumatic, but once it was done they all just walk away and continue on like nothing happened?

And about Nuah, I really liked him, it's refreshing seeing a kind and cute seme for once. But I start to feel like he's just a bit too naive. And as someone else said, kinda useless? Like he came in when Rix was in the middle of being molested/raped, but he wasn't really able to help since he just starts puking blood. Rix had to free himself in the end. And the reason Rix was raped in the first place is because they threatened him with hurting Nuah. Does Nuah even know this?

And he knows Rix was being molested/raped but he offers no support at all. He doesn't even seem to reflect on how horrible it must have been for Rix. And when Banam put his fingers in he just stood there. After the whole ordeal he doesn't think about how to help Rix but only that Rix blushed in from of someone else? Like that is more important than Rix being molested/raped?

And what happened to the rapist? Did they just let him go so he could continue rape other people?

    bananamilk January 25, 2021 2:29 am

I get that and I really hate all Rix goes through as well, but I cant blame Nuah. Despite being a divine beast you have to keep in mind that hes had no contact with humans before Rix and that before he was with animals etc. that dont have the same issues humans do. So to expect Nuah who is basically a child to society to understand how Rix is feeling is a bit much to ask.

In terms of preventing it, he's never been in these situations before and isnt used to such violence I assume so he wouldn't know how to help and using his divine powers, the only thing he really can do, puts him at risk and Rix would hate to be the reason Nuah puts himself at risk.

Overall, I agree that all the rape is disgusting and terrible but I dont think its right blame Nuah as there isn't anything he really could have done. Instead blame the pieces of shit who decided to do such things.

    lostikins January 25, 2021 12:39 pm

The post above mine sums what how I feel about Nuah for the most part.

The part about the slave trader tho I guess you missed or haven't read the update but Tylli came in with a bunch of others and arrested the slave trader and his gang. I'm guessin' Rix and Nuah tied them up off screen or somethin' since it seemed they were already bound up by the time Tylli came around.

    Ethingan January 25, 2021 1:29 pm

Thank you both for thoughtful replies! Sorry must have missed what happened to the slave trader. About Nuah, I agree that it makes sense for him to not know the world of humans since he didn't grow up there. So I admit I may not be able to "blame" him, but it just frustrates me.

It's the same with other stories too where for example the uke stays in a toxic relationship because he doesn't know his self-worth or is blinded by love or gratitude. It may make sense for him to feel and act that way because of the circumstances. So like with Nuah, I can understand it but it still frustrates me if that makes sense? And I hope he learns more so he can understand and support Rix more in the future.

what exactly do you want Nuah to do, if he interferes with humans in any way he would get hurt or worse still would die, As you have bee reading when Rix was really in a position to not help himself Nuah used his powers to save him and all he did was tell the man to stop yet he suffered such a backlash. do not use your emotions to cloud your judgement, you are reading the same thing i am reading and soo far Nuah is trying his best. Rix was not really bound by the chains as he had the power to free himself but he chose not to because he felt Nuah might be in danger and when Nuah found out Rix was there he freed himself and that is why he puked blood when he saw him because he used his powers when to affect humans which is a crime for divine beast and might be extremely dangerous for Nuah who is young divine beast and does not know to use his powers. If Rix was really going to be raped do you really think Nuah would stand there and just watch. I recommend that if you do not understand what is happening you should reread or get rid of your present perspective.

Nuah is still useless. Because when he was Introduced I thought he would at least be useful with his powers. But if he uses them he vomits blood... So what is the essence of his presence.... SEX...... like the part rix got sexually molested... He waited until the guy almost shove his penis in rix's butt.... As someone said, rix's sexual harassment and assault is fan service to people that have a rape kink. And they are happy about that.... Because some part to me doesn't make sense like when rix was getting molested by that guy. He was chained... Me thinking he can't free himself but when nuah came and was in danger, he broke the chains... I was like.... (⊙…⊙ )

I was thinking maybe Banam erased the memories of Rix' assault again since he's done that before. But that seems like a convenient way out tbh

I mean, it's not like Nuah is the toxic one lol

He's literally shreddin' his insides apart and goin' against basically what is considered his parents to do his best and take care of Rix. It's not his fault that any time he uses his powers he winds up pukin' up blood and barely able to do anythin'.

Did you miss the part where the slave trader mentioned that they had remote bombs planted on the slaves and that if he resisted he would blow them up??

It was a hostage situation and Rix chose the lives of others over his own dignity. It isn't that the readers have a rape kink it's that in that situation anything other than lettin' innocent people die was the better outcome for someone like Rix who has a strong sense of justice and the need to help others. He woulda suffered worse if it meant he could bide his time to figure out how to get himself and others to safety. It's what he did back in the demon kingdom and it's what he'll continue to do from now on.

One of the few yaois where a bastard rapist seme TRULY regrets, apologises, repents and changes for the better. I LOVED seeing his character development. I think it helped that they let it take time and that the uke didn't forgive him immediately, but actually hated him and let him suffer before eventually starting to forgive him. And only AFTER the seme had changed. I loved seeing how their relationship developed! A bit confusing at times but I really love this story!

    Greyishin April 27, 2021 4:18 am

I still feel like the uke forgive him too easy well maybe because uke loves him but he suffers so much from the start the seme kidnapped him

Ethingan January 22, 2021 8:42 pm

Mixed feelings. Hated the beginning when the uke was humiliated as a sex slave/servant. It got better and in the end it felt like the seme really loves the uke and treats him better. Very satisfying to see him change, although I would have liked to see him apologise and repent more. And couldn't he have given a bj back at least once?!

Towards the end the one I had most problems with were actually the uke. Complete doormat. So submissive. Just accepts everything. Even when other people try to stand up for him (understandable since he seems unable to do it himself) he lashes out at them instead??? I guess his personality was part of what made the seme come around, being like the sun (I think?), quiet and warm, but it still bothers me. I wish he could have stood up for himself more. I know he was a servant in the beginning so it may have been hard but even as a servant there are things that one doesn't have to accept.

Overall it was a good read though and the art is beautiful.

Some people dislike this for being too messed up or for fetishising rape and mental illness. I agree that it is messed up but I think one of the reasons people think it's worse than all other yaoi out there with rape is that here they don't sugar coat it. It is portrayed just as horrible as it really is. I think this is a way more respectful way of addressing serious topics than to have someone rape, abuse, humiliate etc. someone else, without ever properly apologising or regret, and the other one just forgives it like it's nothing and it's all portrayed as being romantic. These stories have very subtle storytelling while still portraying what is happening in a very frank manner. It feels like it has some deeper meaning and it really makes you reflect. Very psychological and emotional.

Like the 2:nd story. Some people say it fetishises mental illness, which I can agree with to some extent but I actually like this psychological and serious narrative. In some other stories with DID, everything is sunshine and roses, the DID is romanticised and misrepresented. I think that is worse. However, here, it really portrays how scary it can be to have DID and not knowing what the other identity does or when you will disappear.

And especially the 4:th story has beautiful and subtle storytelling. The meaning behind it is horrible but is portrayed very well. I had to reread it in order to fully grasp what happened and as I understood more and more I got more and more horrified. This story still haunts me. I feel so incredibly sad for the mc. A psychological masterpiece in my opinion.

I actually like the hyung! Many people seem to hate him and he might be a bit suspicious, but so far he hasn't done anything bad. He is respectful and straightforward. He offered and lets Yuwon make the decision, without blackmail, coercion, slutshaming or anything.

Most of all he didn't force himself on him! Kinda sad actually but by not being a rapist he's already waaaaay ahead of Dojin! And it's not like Yuwon and Dojin are even dating in the first place.

    hannietea January 5, 2021 10:15 pm

Exactly, idk like ever since Dojin forced Yuwon to give him a blowjob...I’ve been uncomfortable with their sex scenes. For most of the part, he has kept forcing Yuwon to have sex with it and I hate how he does that to him. He deserves to be at least respected and treated better. The hyung is actually asking him for consent and even consulted him about these things. Dojin really needs to improve his well-being cause tbh he sucks ass ( ̄へ ̄)

They’re really in for a lot of pain and Yuwon is gonna be the one who will be suffering

    Weird_Alien January 5, 2021 10:41 pm

Thats just me being suspicious of any new character that is actually good...I really need ro stop doing that.

    Ethingan January 5, 2021 10:46 pm

Yesss! I also hated how he forced that blowjob! I mean I guess it started when Dojin raped Yuwon in the van. I think Dojin got away too easily but at least he apologised and they had some kind of agreement so I hoped it would get better. That he had learned his lesson and would be more respectful and considerate, but then that forced blowjob suddenly gives you another slap in the face! (╯°Д °)╯

Yeah I also feel so bad for Yuwon! He needs to be loved, respected and cared for and if Dojin won't give him that then I honestly wouldn't hold it against Yuwon if he chooses someone who will!

Haha I mean nothing wrong with being a bit suspicious! New characters are often quite shady. But I think it's worth giving this guy a chance since he so far at least have treated him better than Dojin! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

Many people have commented that the rape is portrayed realistically which I agree on when it comes to the blond dude (which is great!!!), but I do feel like it hasn't really been portrayed at all how the black haired dude deals with it (yet). I hope they will do it in the future. I know everyone deals with it differently and he might be in denial or shock, but I wish it would be shown how he thinks so we can understand. Especially if they are to have a relationship and he will continue to be on bottom.

    DaisukeDaisuki February 25, 2021 6:21 pm

he blames himself and drinks it away, which is kinda sad...

Yeah I agree! So far we've mostly seen the blond haired guy openly suffer, while the black haired guy seems to try to numb himself. I hope he'll come to actually deal with his feelings instead of just trying to ignore them.

Ethingan December 29, 2020 11:19 pm

The seme is a dick! The art is good and the fetish makes the story kinda unique, but seme is so manipulative. The first half of the story was just him raping, humiliating, blackmailing and slut-shaming the uke.

While he got much nicer in the later chapters and I liked seeing him act cute and fall in love, it felt like the issues never really got resolved. he just suddenly turned from human trash to protective boyfriend.

I would have accepted it better if he at least reflected a bit on what he did wrong and apologised. I really do think people can change and I actually love redemption arcs, but this story could have handled it much better. Pity cause they were so cute at the end!

Ethingan November 28, 2020 9:09 pm

I still don't understand Isis. She says "You gave your body to Osiris so why can't I?" Well it's a big freaking difference between being threatened to have your son killed if you don't let him do what he wants, which classifies as RAPE, and to willingly seek him out, resurrect him and have sex with him order to have a son and achieve your goal of revenge! The way she's wording it sounds like she's shaming him. VICTIM BLAMING! ヽ(`Д´)ノ

She's talking about taking her revenge on Seth, "You and me will both never get what we want. And the more we'll crave the more we'll lose. How does it feel to have ended our era of rule with your own two hand?" Is she's seriously saying all this, about cursing him not not to have a family, while smugly smiling? And blaming him for ending their era of rule when she's the one doing it? ヽ(`Д´)ノ

"If you truly thought of me as your companion you wouldn't have given my husband your body. Instead you would've come straight to me and asked for help." Well he was chained up in thorny vines and his son's life was threatened. When exactly was he supposed to ask for your help?? And if she meant before he went to Osiris, it's not like knew he was going to be raped. VICTIM BLAMING! ヽ(`Д´)ノ

Ans she's angry she didn't tell her anything. Well sometimes rape victims find it very hard to talk about! How SHE on the other hand didn't come forward and help him even though she knew is UNFATHOMABLE! VICTIM BLAMING! ヽ(`Д´)ノ

Seriously, while I can sympathise with what she has been going through, this whole chapter was basically her blaming Seth for being raped. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

    Pamspray November 29, 2020 1:25 am

And I know she's still a victim but the fact that she said all of that to seth, who was a victim of HER OWN HUSBAND says a lot about how she biased towards Osiris. Even after knowing he's a horrible person.I mean I know she'll have her redemption arc but right now she's just so......(╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

    Jayjay November 29, 2020 9:24 pm

I think Isis cursed him not have that one family, she didn't curse him to never have any other family. She chose to spare Anubis and curse all the four adults involved in the mess, in his stead. I mean, if she couldn't contain her rage and had to vent on anybody, I'm glad she shifted her focus to the adults and left Anubis alone. She wasn't exactly rational at the moment of the curse, anyway.

And Seth was unfairly horrid to her after Osiris' death, so now she's being unfairly horrid to him, in return... Isn't it beautiful how these two never lie to each other? XD XD XDSince Seth has spent centuries taking out his anger on innocents, beating up his own son and making thousands of humans fear and hate him, a few more or less super nasty insults sent his way shouldn't hurt him. Being a god doesn't excuse him because this story follows the Asian concept of gods, where have great powers but also great responsibilities as well.

On another note, I love them both and love their interactions. I often feel like they're practically like twins in their identical, sometimes irrational reactions. It's like they're only ones out of the four who really seem any similar enough to actually seem like siblings... That's why, I'm positive they'll end up reconciling in the end.
