I’ve saw the scene that he died, saw the interview of the author herself stating why did he died, and I still can’t understand why she did that. She, herself stated that if he didn’t kill anyone, he would die, so why bother killing him when he’s not to blame? Couldn’t he being in PRISON be much more worth it for him to learn a lesson? To re-start a new life? Her statement saying “What would makes you think that he would be happy in Japan” ahn, MANY things? He would restart over, with the help of a friend that cherished him? That he could move on, and try a new life? Seek for medical help bc of all the awful things he saw and was forced to do while living? “He lived his life to the fullest” like wtf? He was child traffic, raped, was forced to assassinate ppl and thats living the life to the fullest to her? When he encounter someone that encourages him to change, she simply KILLED HIM bc she couldn’t forgive the fact that he killed someone, so he had to pay for his life? I gaged by reading this, bc even though he’s part to blame for killing someone, what choice would he had? Why bother then, letting him live if his ending was going to be like this? After struggling so much to change, to move on, to part ways with his unfortunate fate, she simply choose him to DIE??? I couldn’t be more pissed than I am. Oh, and when she said in the interview that even if he live, he would part ways with Eiji, like???? So why bother him dying while reading the letter, or why bother making a sequel of the person that wouldn’t be able to live without this person EVEN THOUGH her original thought that they would part ways, and that’s it? Like, that’s IT? I thought quite cold of her saying that, after building an entire relationship and trust between the two of them, or after everything Ash has gone trough nothing “special” would happen. Like, this man was raped multiple times in his life, and he couldn’t seek for help even when he would LIVE? What kind of thought is that? That every ppl that was done wrong in this life has to die to live in peace? Is life so meaningless to her that, just bc someone has gone through a very traumatic experience they can’t fight back and want to live? They can’t fight back and want to change? She has my rage, and I will never forgive her, never. I respect her as an author, and an artist. It’s her work, her project and her art. But, I couldn’t disagree more with someone in my life.
