Honestly this story kind of makes me upset. There is no redemption for the Duke. No matter what he does It can’t cover that facts of what has done to MC. Also The King, emperor, or whatever He is. He isn’t good either. Guess it runs in the family. If it were me, I would care less for my life if it means to kill them both or at least kick where the son don’t shine. I'm beginning to think for most Chinese manhua authors this type of treatment of women is considered "normal". Which is very sad.
The rape scene really was not the best part of the story and could of gone to different approach rather then rape. All the stuff after was fine. It kind of made me tear up when we learn about what happened to the main character when he was little. No kid should ever go through what he had. No one should ever be called worthless, useless not valuable. We might not be great at one thing, but there will always be something that you can achieve. You just need the will to do it. One thing also had me thinking was, did the main character not receive the help after his traumatic experience? He obviously has ptsd(that’s what I believe), so did he ever receive help?
Well I suspect he did get because the family is fairly wealthy but sometimes with how severe it is people can get panic attacks/triggers from objects or places that brings them back to their trauma.
Also i agree that no kid should be subjected to that experience(of being locked up and called useless) like he was.

Story good. BUT WHAT THE F* does LIM LOOK LIKE? I have been curious throughout this whole story, and they never once showed him. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ. Btw for all of y’all asking who Lim is. He is Hyun, the dude with blue eyes, boyfriend and the one who basically does the ML with black hairs, job.
Arts good, but the story is sh*t. Badly written. The plot would be good if it wasn’t written so terribly(●￣(ｴ)￣●).

Meh, I'm on chatter 74, and I want to punch the ML in his nads and smack some sense into the FL. Plus, the art somewhat changes. I'm still going to read til the end b/c I've come this far, but yeah...I'm annoyed at the moment.

I’m invested to the story, it’s just that I’m so mad at the character in the Duke’s mansion. Escpecially the Duke himself. He is the most rude, disrispectful man ever. The mc is obvisioly not a threat she cleary has done nothing wrong and the way he treats and says that she is getting an attitude with him, when it is actually him. Ughh honestly these people in the dukes house just need to fall. The only one the mc needs to save is her self. Just let the other fall. It’s not worth saving people who have been treating you so wrongly. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ (╬￣皿￣)凸
Hopefully it doesn’t take long for another update. This is actually a really great story. The female lead is actually not a push over like other story’s. I can’t wait for the ML to see her human form.
