Srsly, people canceling and badmouthing Li Huan for forgetting his man's birthday, he had a reason for that. Also fyi, this happens in real life especially if youre a busy adult.
Li Huan had done more good and sweet things than atleast two semes of other stories. Then you cancel him for one mistake? Lols.
I just started watching the OVA and i could already tell that
yuri x jimmy, MC x kashima and yacchan x blue hair will be the endgame, I really hope so because i now ship them lol jimmy is so sweet.
BUT WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT HOW HANDSOME ITSUKI IS WTF! SO WHO DO YOU SHIP HIM WITH? WHO'S HIS OFFICIAL MAN????????
I'm gonna seriously cry because I'm soooo tired of explaining it OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I'VE BEEN EXPLAINING THIS FOR A MONTH BUT...*sigh* ah shit, here we go again..
1. No, Li Huan doesn't have cancer. Since I read the raws, he only went to the hospital for an IV drip because he had colds. I don't know how the cancer rumor started. Is it because everyone likes drama? Someone out tjere likes to stir things up for no reason? (You better stop because you've been giving people anxiety. )
2. In chapter 3, Yu Yang mentioned things like "being involved in a murder case", "having a car accident and memory loss", "a terminal cancer" , "meeting their fates while mountain climbing". People use this to validate their cancer point but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE. READ THE VERY NEXT THING YU YANG SAID.
"Altough these things are UNLIKELY to happen. Does it matter at all? We just have to bump into each other to get closer."
While the dialogue is enough to ease our worries, I would like to give my own interpretation. In dramas, all those things Yu Yang said were usually the trigger point where MCs start to get closer. So to me, what that dialogue meant was basic. Yu Yang and Li Huan did not have to undergo those for them to fall in love. They just had to have another encounter to let the pieces fall into place.
Also, common sense. If they really did meet their fates during mountain climbing, aka die, will Yu Yang still be able to narrate the story to us? Unless he's a ghost!
3. Djun already released a chapter set in 2024. One year after the events of this recent chapter. In case you haven't seen it yet, the chapter shows us Yu Yang and Li Huan settling in their own new house. They clean, they lift boxes, they drive and Li Huan even suggested going skiing the year after. Does that sound like someone with cancer? Plus, there's no indication at all in that chapter that Li Huan is undergoing treatment or whatsoever. They look healthy and in love asf.
Fin thoughts: Please, please please verify your sources first before you believe in rumors. Because you don't know if you're giving someone anxiety. Yes this is just fictional but some people are emotionally invested in this book. Also please, not to belittle anyone but using your brains and common sense wouldn't hurt that much, alright? Tbh, I'm tired of explaining and calming people down but it's worth it when they sigh in relief and calm down.
Next chapter is a little better. What our MCs are going through is normal in every long-lasting relationships.
Wait, you can get an IV for a cold. I was a little confused by the raw bc I didn't think the doctor didn't directly mention that li huan had a cold. Instead I thought the doctor was telling li huan to be careful since it's flu season. Li huan also said "我的脸色差" scaring me into thinking something was seriously wrong. I'm not sure though.
我的脸色差 translates to "My face is bad" according to google, that is. Could he mean his face was bad from the cold?
Its true the nurse didn't say it directly that he has a cold but what else could it be? Colds is closer than him getting some kind of more serious treatment. Aaaah! Pls tell me if I'm missing a point or something Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
I would say "不能让他看到我的脸色差" translates to "don't let him see that my face has turned pale." The words 脸色 translates to "face color" and 差 translates to bad. The author made the whole treatment thing very ambiguous so no one knows why he is at the hospital getting an IV, the author leaves that kinda ambiguous. From the next chapter all we know is that li huan is sick, he's distancing himself from yuyang, he doesn't want yuyang to know he went to the hospital, and he gets a head ache. I'm not sure about this chapter in set in 2024 bc I've only read one chapter ahead.
Im quite convinced that Chowon has mental/physiological illness. I dont want to diagnose because its not my line but when he said that he's gonna take Dojun back or something, it was like he was posessed (not supernaturally) and DEFINTELY NOT HIMSELF. Ya he was a bitch and all but that panel was a whole lotta darker than the Chowon we have seen in the main story.
I dont know what hurt me more. Chowon overdosing on pills, Kyungsoo walking away, Kyungsoo asking himself what is he to Chowon with a pained face or Chowon calling for Kyungsoo when he was about to lose consciousness again.
Seriously, my heart. In the end, Kyungsoo was the one he was thinking of and calling out to and not Dojun.
And to those who'll say that Chowon deserved what he got, youre right but those of you who'll say that he doesn't deserve a character development or a happy ending, FUCK YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK.
Still his mental breakdown and pill overdose was to much. I cried for Chowon.
Yeah dammit i started crying for reals in that panel
Oyah, the narrow minded and fat fingered people be downvoting now
I want to see where are those people hating Chonwon and doesn't even give a damn about his mental health. I hope they are happy now to see someone so wreck resorting to death as their only option of escape. People don't understand the depths of those people suffering from this.
Yeah. I have been following a psychiatrist because of my depression. But I always end up being sick because of the pills. As soon as start taking them I will feel really bad headaches. So when I saw what Chowon did with pills I immediately felt pain because I know what pain it's to take mental pills
Tbh, I think his mental health was severely affected when he was with Dojun. He was proud of his status as dominant omega and I truly think he loved Dojun but Dojun can't reciprocate and in turn affected Chowon's mentality causing him to have issues and harming others and himself. But meeting the Beta may have improved Chowon's outlook a bit that he seemed to have fun and actually enjoys being with the beta seeing how expressive he is with him.
Him overdosing might be because he might have not been ready to talk about such a dark past and he genuinely felt hurt when the beta walked away and told him he was scared of Chowon. He might've felt like a rug was pulled under him causing him to spiral again.
Oh dear you'll see them below some comments, you'll see them in the future because some are just narrow like that. They dont think about other perspectives at all. Worse is they speak about mental health and all but "oH nO yOu dOnT dEsErVe LoVe aNd sYmpAtHy"
Yo the comments above though(⊙…⊙ ). But the next chapters may finally be more focused on Chowon's character development.
